Good news that I’m sure we were all hoping to read this morning. Unlike with Ralph and knowing his time was finally up and rightly so. This last 3 months has just been a joke from the start and should never have happened. Will Rasmus learn from this huge failure or we he end up having to go too?

Jan Bednarek! He recalled and starts Jan fucking Bednarek over ABK & DCC. Absolutely baffling. How can a manager not see what everyone else can? We all know he’s shit and a complete liability.

Their 2nd felt inevitable as soon as they equalised. This just feels all too familiar from saints. It’s the typical saints way over the last 6 years.

There should be a rule stopping players surrounding the ref. Appeal by raising a hand or calling out maybe but players surrounding or hassling the ref should be stopped. Players getting in the refs face like their opinion matters and what they think might change the refs decision is ridiculous. The refs should be confident and trained enough to make the correct decision themselves. You’d think with var they should never be getting so much wrong.

Not really surprised we lost this. After 3 wins in a row I half expected this result. I do now think we will just about stay up as we will get points elsewhere. Luckily there is a lot of other shite teams in the league. We have lost against the teams where on paper at least the wins should have come from but after the recent wins I think they could come from anywhere. We are so unpredictable and the players can blow hot and cold from one game to another. Not many are consistant. Also Diallo is shit and plays ok so rarely there is no point in him. Bazunu has potential but is inexperienced and looks nervous and sloppy and he’s not gonna help us at all this season. Surprised the new guys didn’t come on at halftime or by the hour mark. Still the league is still so tight and win the next game and we’re still right in the fight.

Most footballers are so greedy though. I understand the average person changing jobs for a pay rise but when you’re earning the money they do it doesn’t make much difference. He could have stayed at saints for the reported 100k a week and most likely played more football and scored more goals. Not to mention achieving legend status amongst fans. He has become a part time mercenary for a bit more cash.

Most of the replacements we’ve had recently aren’t the problem it’s the ones that have been around a while that need upgrading. Ralph is not perfect but we’ve had players in the squad that aren’t up to it for years now. New signings won’t always work but if we can keep getting more right than wrong we will get there.

Well…. Where to start really. Ralph has shown himself to be a dedicated and likeable guy and has provided some great moments and good runs of form during his time here. There has also been large amounts of rock bottom garbage performances in there as well. I’ve generally been pro Ralph as he’s done better than anyone since Koeman and seems genuinely committed to us which is admirable nowadays. I’m my opinion Ralph has got more out of this squad than anyone before him and I think he has done well overall. It does seem though that sometimes he just can’t win with his decisions and lineups. If we do well with the lineups everyone wants it’s all good. If he does well with the lineups nobody wants it’s also all good. Yet when we play shit regardless off the lineup (and they have been varied in our wins and losses) he gets blamed anyway. We have played our so called best team that everyone is asking for and been shit as well as good. I find myself at the point where I still support Ralph but also would understand if a change does end up being made. The players are still a big problem that I don’t think another manager will just rock up and improve. I still think 3-4 players would improve us more than a new manager.

There are a lot of comments from pundits about us having a bad start to the season without a win in our first 7 games. I don’t agree that it was a bad start though. I think it was fairly good considering the 4 draws we got. 2 against teams we don’t usually do well against and 2 from big clubs we wouldn’t be expected to get anything from. I know we lost the 2 easier ones but we’re saints so…. Everton one is just same old! Anyway it’s been nice seeing the wins coming in as I think we deserve them. great to be looking forward to the next games again. Even though nothing would surprise me in football I can actually see RH being here till his contract and even beyond. 🔴⚪️

Just finished listening to this on audible and was very enjoyable. A must for all saints fans. Well read by Franny himself which is a nice touch.

The games he’s played well in outside the Prem are probably just showing his level. But still show there is something about him. We’ve had worse than him on the bench and he can definitely fill a spot there this season before he most likely moves on.

Listening to the interview on the podcast it sounds like there could be many reasons for the other fans views of him. Hopefully he’s a beast for us and gives us some added strength and fight. We will see 🤞

I don’t get what’s wrong with that video whatsoever. He just seems like a normal guy to me. Always comes across well in after match interviews too. The fact he is often the player in the pictures promoting the next game or wearing the new kit (probably the most used player on the official site) he is obviously highly regarded by the club. I think he’s quality and only let down by his annual injury. Also anybody saying we should get rid is talking s**t. He’s worth keeping even if he does only play 3/4 of a season. Not like we have anyone better.

I can always handle watching Saints at St Mary’s or on TV fairly well. The real anxiety and heart palpitations only really come from listening to them play through radio. Well that game nearly finished me off! I would’ve been more than happy to win that one nil but f*ck me I wouldn’t be buzzing like this if we had. I haven’t lost my sh*t like that over an England game ( or probably any game ) since Rickie mugged off the Scots. Really well deserved. Columbia were a disgrace really and will only be remembered as cheating b*stards that got what they deserved. England to knock out Russia and bring it home!

I’d be disappointed and surprised if he’s not our manager next year. The main reason stoke fans seem to dislike him is because of his signings. As our managers supposedly don’t have as much influence on them here it shouldn’t be as much of a problem. Plus he should learn from his mistakes as it would do his reputation no good to mess up transfers in that way again. I think he’ll be with us for a few years and for once we might be settled in the manager department.
