That was a really weird decision. I wonder why they thought it would be a good idea to loan out a player that’s championship proven quality to then buy and loan two others in his place. I think we’d have a few more points if Bree was in our lineup from the start.

It’s hard to say at this point whether he is better than Ramsdale as I think he’s a quality keeper. I agree though that he’s better or at least as good so far as early Forster and Boruc. Niemi is still the man though!

Peretz is a shit hot keeper isn’t he! Thought Azaz got stuck in tonight and played well in a game where we didn’t do much. Our back 5 is looking more and more capable of helping us win these sorts of games. Saints are now a really hard team to score against. Brilliant 3 points. Looking forward to Saturday. Almost everytime I read your posts I wonder how it is that you became a moderator on here. I don’t post much but I do enjoy reading other people’s views and opinions but not often yours. You are up there when it comes to posting shite and the above quoted is not nearly the worst.

I just think that SR are so utterly clueless that we will just continue to see more of the same. The first season we had under their ownership was a shambles. They came in to our club without any idea what they were doing and have learnt absolutely nothing since. Everytime they have had a chance to reset and do something to make a positive change they have failed miserably. I have zero faith that they will get any decision right. The promotion and the couple of good players we’ve signed seems like a complete fluke. Players that will likely be gone at the end of the season anyway so even they have been wasted on us. I had half a hope that our owner would finally step in and maybe sort this shit show out but as he’s apparently backed IJ for next year it seems he knows fuck all as well. As someone else has said above for once us lot really do know more than the people in charge. The best thing about our club is and has always been the fans. We are as good a bunch of football supporters as you can get and whatever happens next we’ll still be here. Up the saints 🔴⚪️

There was a moment second half that summed us up completely. Sulemana received the ball on the left when on a slight break and just slowed down and came to a stop. He then turned around and passed backwards. Even without the passing backwards the attack was done the second he decided to stop running forward and casually looked around before sending the ball in the wrong direction. Surely the natural and obvious thing to do would be to keep running forward and be able to attack less defending players but yet we see this stuff time and time again.

Other than some brief moments we’ve had plenty of grim years behind us since around 2017

He took one penalty that season and fluffed it after he did one of those stupid run ups. Would’ve equaled Vardy and shared the golden boot if not for that. Still annoys me that happened.
