I am really very annoyed about all this guff. At a time when we are top of the league, all this is being played out in the media, when all they should be talking about is how well we have done this season to get where we are. Unless I have not read the original interview properly, I can't find anywhere NC has said "Matthew Le Tissier wanted free tickets but I told him to do one". Maybe I am being naive but I am not convinced that NC was talking about MLT or LM when he said about giving out freebies here and there. Please let us not forget that this is The Sun - not exactly a paper known for putting morals first. As we know, NC and the sun fell out big time last season - wonder if the sun are still ****ed about this and want to stitch the man up at all? MLT is possibly the main reason that I fell in love with Saints (back in the mid eightees) and he, I would like to think, influenced how I play my football. I worship him and no doubt without him, we would not have been the prospect we were for ML and NC to take on. He is a legend, proper legend, for us. But having a hissy fit on twitter (if it really is him) will not help at all. I feel that some people are far too quick to critisise NC - I genuinely believe that he is doing everything in his power to ensure that we are very succesful in the fairly near future. I can understand the grief he gets for some of the decisions he has made (season ticket debacle), but I wouldnt want anyone else in charge. I am confident in him and it doesn't feel like we are a club that gets easily pushed around any more. In closing, I just wish that they could all pull in the same direction and put the club first - we are really looking like we mean serious business and could be at the start of something awesome. As for Stelling - always liked him and admired his knowledge, but know for a fact that he is very good friends with a certain Rupert Lowe. Small wonder then, that he is happy to have a go at Cortese really. Thats my opinion.

Well thats the weird thing........ I don't consider myself to be a fan of his and I very very rarely watch any program with him in it. There is just something in your blunt, and usually spot on I might add, delivery that just reeks of the man. All IMO of course!

As the title suggest, me and my family are looking to move down to the Southampton area. Without wishing to sound like a complete snob (and probably failing), can people recommend a decent area of the city/outskirts to move to? Funnily enough, the only area of Southampton I have really experienced is St Marys! Would really really appreciate any recommendations that you fine people may have.... thanks in advance, Dan

Absolutely love watching Lallana play. Not afraid to admit that I worship the ground he walks on. When I first saw him play, I must admit, I didn't think he would become half the player he is now. He has improved ten fold since then IMO. I just hope, no no really really hope I mean, that he stays with us for a long time yet - Fingers crossed that we give him reason enough to stay. I have no doubt whatsoever that Lallana can make a name for himself in the premiership (lets just hope its with us!!!).
