FFS... Do i have to say it again..IT IS ALL OPINION. It is just normal fans as you say but not the "majority of people in football" Message boards are not "people in football"...they are in the main just fans. The decision makers in football are directors,football advisors,people with experience in the running football clubs,playing the game,hands on experience not people like you and me. And for the record i think Alan Pardew is a better manager.

Calling people idiots? You have won that title unopposed after the highlighted comment. Managers are very important at any club.... Making sure you have a good one for your club is where the difficulty comes in,some managers do well at some clubs some don`t. For me and many others Pardew is doing a good job and will continue to do so for Southampton football club hopefully for a long time.

"We have seen what Pardew could do without money" TBF it was more what could be done with a group of players,who together were not good enough coupled with the huge losing mentality at the club and of course the -10 point monkey on our backs. IMO any manager would have struggled to start well with that.

Of course but it takes more than just buying players,someone has to coach them and in my opinion and hopefuly NC`s, Alan Pardew is the best person for the job. A change of manager would be a massive mistake...
