  1. Can see Man U getting it together and maybe running off with 6th of even getting 5th off spurs. But as it stands this evening we have a chance, but will also depend on the Everton games in hand.
  2. Everton looked tired today. My worry is the form of Newcastle and Man U seem to be finishing strong. Until there is not enough points left, I will keep a positive mind. The season is still alive.
  3. Can I ask why 7th is not out of reach but not top 6, when 7th and 6th place have the same points?
  4. No matter how unlikely it is, looking at the fixtures and the table why not.......
  5. Now the way I see it, is that 3 home games hold the key to the top 6. If we can beat Newcastle, Everton and Man Utd at home, we still have a chance to finish in the top 6, but I see these 3 as must win! Of course we will have to beat others as well, but lose to 1 or more of these 3 it is over for IMHO.
  6. Great win, I was stuck in the cinema checking the score! Could get very interesting if we can beat Norwich!
  7. See that soccer Saturday are trying to undermine the Saints players from the England game, by saying that the Denmark team would be tired when they came on, so they would look good and that nothing was learnt by the game.
  8. Yep, stilled peed off!
  9. No I am not looking for a ticket.
  10. Were gonna win the league!
  11. Sometimes when you make a mistake n other games, the pressure makes you pick the wrong choice. Sometimes you have to deal with the situation. It a difficult situation and a difficult place to do something with the ball. What if we left it and an attacker got on the end of it. Perhaps he could have had a call from a team mate. Wrong place, wrong time? Yes I like the player and think he can still make it in the premier league, with the right move.
  12. Also is it that he does not have the quality, or just that he has had a downward spiral of terrible luck which has zapped his confidence? I think a fresh start, might be the break that he needs. Reading might well give him a go, or a team at the bottom 3rd of the prem. Could be the remaking of him. Remember crouch at Villa? Terrible. Moved on brilliant. This happens to many players at clubs.
  13. Watch him go to another club in the premier league and be brilliant! Maybe? As a centre back 30 is very young still.
  14. Sir Rickie, drop him, no, absolutely not.
  15. We beat Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea at home last season, so you could have an augment there, but quite clearly overall have been better in the league this season!
  16. Yes but there is a difference between winning your last few games to stay up and falling over line after being safe for months. I for one would prefer to get there, then not win many, than around the other way.
  17. Palace v Southampton L Southampton v Norwich W Southampton v Newcastle D Man City v Southampton L Southampton v Cardiff W Aston Villa v Southampton D Southampton v Everton L Swansea v Southampton L Southampton v Man Utd L I make it 8 more points.
  18. Same as last season when we reached a certain point. We need to get away from this way of thinking and look to push on. If we are going to stop playing 100% when we reach a certain point of the season 'safe point' then at least play some of the youth players. It does not help that there is not to much pressure from below us, but this could change if we do not pick up some points soon, as the 9th spot could be lost and even a top half finish!
  19. That is what I was expecting from them. Perhaps we could come back like Swansea did.
  20. They are not coming at us, like I expected and wanted them to. They seem a little causious to me.
  21. We are still in this. Liverpool threw a 2-0 lead away at home last weekend and they do have weaknesses.
  22. Did not know this was on Sky, I thought BT had it!
  23. Lets make the most of this pressure.
  24. Plenty of those on here, so in the right place!
