This happens all the time at Anfield, Old Trafford etc with season ticket holders selling their away tickets. Not sure what can be done as it mean Saints lose a generation of away fans who used to go away and are not the flask and slippers brigade you see in in these type of clips from the club. Saints away support improved when we went down the divisions

Even if Saints play well and Liverpool are poor they will still have chances from corners, free kicks etc as good as our centre halves have played recently they will not win headers against Van Dijk etc and I expect the usual soft penalty award to Liverpool from Mr Friend. I’ve been lucky enough to have seen us win 4 times at Anfield 3 in the premier league 1998, 2003, 2013 and of course the Shane Long day league cup semi final and I’m going to this game and will be happy with a point to be honest.

Saints continue to be the net spend Champions again. I feel sorry for Ralph who really could get Saints to challenge for Europe if he was backed by the board with transfers. Club don’t care about away attendances as they don’t make any money out of them. Same small allocation which will be sold to season ticket holders who have been to one away game or sell their tickets to the Liverpool tourists who are always in the away end there. Makes the club and fans look so small time club and pathetic.

The normal away allocation at Anfield is just under 3000 and has been for a long time so we are never going to take 3000. I’ve probably been there 20+ times and Saints have sold out full away section including restricted and severely restricted view seats plenty of times.
