  1. or is your obsession with my posts deranged ? I wouldnt be saying it, if i didnt think there was good reason.
  2. Sorry to hear about your loss, DH. My thoughts on PP are that he’s low-budget and comes across like an ’80s car salesman from Shirley. His personal inclusion of looney Le Tissier — despite all of his irresponsible and embarrassing behaviour — crosses the line for me. I’ve told him that personally, by the way, and also said, “Who gives a toss what Glenn Cockerill says about MLT?” But now I’ve noticed he’s in bed with the ex-Saints, playing football with them at charity games. 😐 He’s talked so many things up and got fans hyped for XYZ, yet I see no real evidence from the people that matter to support his verbal hype. Anyway, when it comes to Solak, I just think the large expenditure and seeing unlimited money at other clubs has put him off somewhat. I still don’t understand how such a big businessman cannot attract some decent sponsorship towards the club.
  3. Cortese was not liked by most staff and i guess there is a slight point to the rocket, however the likes of Les Reed were doing all the grafting. Cortese wanted to get asap back to the PL so he could sell the club and make millions for doing so. Only Kat Liebeerr hated him and the rest is history. Ive said it many times on here, Cortese went out of his way to damage the club on the run up to his departure, the way he treated Benali was inhumane. Fans got totally blindly by the PR from David Bick
  4. Im going to predict that Spors and Still is the last throw of the dice for Solak, i reckon hes radpidly losing interest in the whole football ownership thing. I think the CEO Parsons is also floundering and running the club like some shitty non league outfit.
  5. He needs more time, but ive got serious concerns with the lack of organisation in the team thus far.
  6. Is WIll still lost without at least one of his brothers alongside him ?
  7. A one stand expansion has been looked at in recent years, i imagine land would be needed, PL finances and a ST waiting list to justify it.
  8. The debt at the moment is far too large to then take on spending mega millions more with any future revenue from that way down the road into god knows what year. A clear path would be to acquire the melbourne road land and expand the chapel stand for what another 5000 seats that would we hope get filled up to pay for the mental costs involved. Its important that the team is working ! first and foremost.
  9. Some people do like getting carried away, i think land acquistion is clearly a good idea, when its adjacent to the stadium, especially now the stadium has lost a large wack of basic car parking. But the most important thing is the football and clearly improving our current status !
  10. I would only see flats working facing the Itchen river , bars and restaurants are struggling to fill seats already. I wouldn’t want anything to further kill off the city centre. The dell bar for eg is empty unless a game is being played. All the hotels are in west quay. Mayflower park was going to be developed into something your suggesting and it melted into the Solent.
  11. The gas site wouldnt be a good location for a multi purpose venue, i would image somewhere like the toys rus site, it has hotels, food, thousands of car spaces nearby, a train station and numerous roads out of the city. Solak isnt flashing the cash around so the least he can do in the short term is at least inquire about the land in melbourne road.
  12. Ask the club if theyve spoken to the coal pension fund to see if they will sell the burnt down warehouse land adjacent to the chapel stand. A key bit of land that would be very useful and needed for any stadium expansion.
  13. This is merely one of many cases involving footballers and tax avoidance and they reap what they sow. The same goes for all ther other shysters, that get involved in tax avoidance schemes.
  14. A clueless vile scumabg that was a total charlatan and the likes of Les Reed did all the real work. Obviously many fell for the media PR, that was given to him by consultant David Bick Not sure he paid for anything whilst he was employed here either. I mean who has there own personal toilet built to use 😄
  15. West Ham are interested in Dibling at £25M and some add ons I suspect they might offer Prowse as well if they can pay his wages.
  16. All the main commercial revenue has come from Greg Bakers contacts, where is the dyson sponsorship ! 😄
  17. I bet we cannot buy anything of note until either Dibling Fernandes are sold.
  18. Remember, i told you all that Parsons was all over the football side months before it was revealed by the athletic. He can certainly talk a good game Mr Woking Reserve, but no evidence he has the minerals to be a PL standard CEO
  19. Out of his depth being involved in football, incompetent decision making, just behind the worst season in the clubs history. He hasn’t a clue about brand image. ’Commercial’ that’s someone else’s job and Parsons got none of the new local sponsors.
  20. Commercial role ?. Ha ha
  21. Solak will not finance Saints anymore (via share issues) thats clear and we will have to work with what we make from sales. The land adjacent to St Martys stadium has been offered to the club, its a small outlay compared to football transfer fees.
  22. Sums it up, how did Solak employ him ? https://www.businessupnorth.co.uk/aibytech-appoints-former-dyson-executive-phil-parsons-as-chairman-and-ceo-to-drive-innovation-in-baby-tech-industry/
  23. Great deal for Ramsdale as we needed the full £20M to spend not a poxy loan fee.
  24. If Huddesfield and stoke can have full front and back striped kits, why dont we ?
  25. Appeasing the agent is the only thing i can think of. shambles
