  1. Lol But you're not denying you ruin then..... lmfao
  2. I take it you don't own Fifa on the PS3 mate....
  3. Oh please do, I'm all ears.... Pancake, anything to say in regards to multiple personality boy here diluting the debate yet again?
  4. Glad to see you enforced that logic on the Pompey thread then... Shouldn't post when getting home drunk though so point taken..
  5. Sorry old chum but you're getting to look more and more like a complete arse... Sadly its all back up by fact... Allow me to show you... Like it or not for 50 years we were above you. Fact. Now you're above us but rather than concentrate on that you drone on and on about the attendance record of the Dell. Like it or not, when the Premier League started The Dellhad an average 95% capacity. Fact. True. Ask anyone on here how difficult it was to get tickets at the Dell in the Premiership Average league attendance during the Premiership years never dipped below 14,689 Check this as proof: http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/soto.htm So you're wrong there... Another fact is during the early to mid 90's Fratton was 60% empty. Fact From 1990 to 1997 your average attendance plummeted. Average figures of as little as 8269, rising to a peak of 13695 but for FIVE years you average attendance of less than 10,000 with some individual attendances as low as 4,682! Would you like me to publish some of the indiviual stats? Check this as proof: http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/porm.htm It must really hurt that despite being in League One, as opposed the the old Div 2, we've maintained good attendances. As proved by our average attendances in the Championship of no less than 21,254 Check this as proof... oh you get the gist... http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/soto.htm The harsh truth is that when things are average, saints fans are average. When the going gets tough, they're bloody amazing. Pompey fans on the other hand get on the clubs back and stay away. If Fratton was two thirds empty when times were hards, what does that say about your support? Now here you're right if we go by averages, you were half empty but if you go by individual games there were games where you were actually two thirds empty. My personal favourite being Oxford at home in 1991 with an attendance of 4,682 So with links and facts being proven, perhaps you'd like to apologise...
  6. I find you a complete and utter retard who insults people left right and centre and then runs off crying like a baby when he gets grief in return. But that's just my opinion.... Please, please just **** off and leave us all alone you sad, sad, "alledgely" bi polar, mother's boy? you're not clever, you're not witty, you're just incredibly dull and incredibly cowardly....
  7. Why not ignore me you flaming muppet and leave this thread alone?
  8. Oh do shut up you nutter...
  9. I'm just glad we had people who tried to help the club in the first place... Well done to all involved methinks...
  10. We've moved on you strange freak.... By the way, I didn't call you Bi Polar boy, that was View From The Top. I just happily jumped on the bandwagon. I could always "rattle a tin" for your favourite cause if you want... Oh, and it's libel... Slander is spoken. We always meet face to face and then it could be slander... You might as well lock this thread mods, numpteen's done what he aimed to do and turn this thread into a personal slanging match...
  11. But there's nothing there that hasn't been said on here and subsequently written off by the blue few as "pure speculation." Interesting to see how the club won't reveal how much the debt is. Considering how many skates on here seem to know every line and every column in the Fratton ledger then it's quite funny.. As they've sold, what, £70 million's worth of "talent" you'd think they'd be all too keen to spill the beans... The harsh truth is that if the good doctor was interested he wouldn't allow the club to sell all it's assets, surely that's common sense. Someone will buy them, just not the billionaire fantasy figure they believe they "deserve."
  12. Actually it's more amusing when a Premiership club starts droning on about their history when their most bitter rivals are in League One. Now if playing in the Premiership and recenly winning the FA cup isn't enough, then harping on about attendances and the like just show uneasy you lot are with current events. Like it or not for 50 years we were above you. Fact. Now you're above us but rather than concentrate on that you drone on and on about the attendance record of the Dell. Like it or not, when the Premier League started The Dellhad an average 95% capacity. Fact. Another fact is during the early to mid 90's Fratton was 60% empty. When the going gets tough, they're bloody amazing. Pompey fans on the other hand get on the clubs back and stay away. If Fratton was two thirds empty when times were hards, what does that say about your support? It's pathetic, that's what it says...
  13. But again, with Cranie, he never actually played that much for you either did he? One of those players that promises much and delivers nothing. There was much wailing and rubbing of hands as he left and yet he's done for you exactly what he did for us... Nothing!
  14. It was Blackburn in a League Cup game Portsmouth 1 (0) - 1(0) Blackburn Nightingale 77 Dunn 88 At Fratton Park on 26-09-2000 Attendance: 2731 Referee: M Fletcher (Worcestershire)
  15. Pathetic really... So anyway... back to the point in hand...Portsmouth. Just in case anyone had forgotten the point of the thread... With Jean Paul Seijs desperately keen to come back to St Marys and Cranie leaving Fratton park it's a timely pointer as to the tide turning... Seijs is a quality centreback and could easily play Championship (albeit it lower half)...
  16. Then he really shouldn't have started should he? It's not just about past arguments , this thread was trotting along quite nicely when up he pops and starts on me and Wes... It's one thing to feel sympathy but in this case he's just the master of his own misfortune...
  17. Anyhow, ignoring bi polar boy, have any of the resident skates commented on the departure of Martin Cranie? He was number 10 in the list of positives... is it now 9?
  18. Absolutely... I'm not denying it... But there's something about 19c/Sundance/Flashman that just brings out the worst in me. Without wishing to appear childish, who started it? Surely the poster who gave us this.... "what a pointless thread. A vehicle 4 the usual windbags to revel in the misfortune of others to avoid accepting the shortcomings of our recent history. I have no love at all for Pompey but our own existence would be all the poorer without the motivation to do better with them down the road and the desire to return to the old status quo . Perhaps we should at least recognise that their takeover bid has not been endorsed by one of their playing legends. Once again Daren and Wes are in the glass house being predictable. " If multiple personality man throws stones he should expect one or two heading right back at him.... even if it's rather harsh. If he doesn't like me or my replies... don't rile me. Simples...
  19. Fair point?? What fair point you complete idiot? Can you please point out where, at any stage, I've relished Pompey going into administration or going out of existence? Or even hinted it at? You can't as it never happened and it's not true. To say I'm "Recognising their demise" is a blatant lie...I am simply enjoying the complete and utter mess they're in. No more no less. Are you that stupid that you can't understand the basic premise of this thread or are you just looking for arguments?
  20. Unnecessary considering you know the Gaffer's related to Mike Osman. A cheap and unpleasant dig.... Were you in two minds before posting that? Keep taking the tablets...
  21. Oh the irony, Mr Multiple Personality accusing others of being windbags and being predictable... lol Keep taking the tablets....
  22. That's the network by the way... I wouldn't live in that flea pit if you paid me...
  23. You could always try this.... http://www.facebook.com/daren.wheeler?ref=profile#/group.php?gid=115854628478&ref=nf It's the future I tell you!

  25. You forgot to mention a red faced man in tweed has been seen at Fratton Park...
