  1. So no facts then, just more conjecture and make believe. I'm on LEAVE, you're probably at home full time. That says it all to me. Your anti Le Tissier stance is made even more ridiculous when we consider that when Lowe was ruining this club you said nothing. Under your numerous guises you've backed Lowe to hilt, even when it was blatantly obvious his regime was wrong for this club. It makes your protestations against Le Tissier look absolutely ridiculous, almost school boy debating. In the great scheme of things you place more importance on Matt backing a failled, flawed bid than the man who presided over TWO relegations and numerous **** ups and humiliations. You're a joke, a pathetic, puffed up psuedo intellectual, who seems to thrive on being controversial and being the centre of attention. I really, really can't be bothered with you. For months I've had real issues with you and the more you post the more other people, far more reasonable than me, are seeing you for the vastly unpleasant attention seeker I know you to be. Please carry on, the more you post the more you prove me right... In the meantime, B L O C K E D.... and this messageboard is far better for it...
  2. Oh ffs Please tell us what facts you have on Le Tissier. Tell us the facts you have that he was in any way culpable or negligent? He was used as a figurehead on a failed bid. If you have facts then please print them, if you don't and you're making assumptions then please shut up. Your psuedo intellectual posturing is dull, uninteresting and vindicitive and inidicates an underlying need to be noticed. How very sad...
  3. Yep, posts, not articles. Not that smart are you? Oh, and I have this week off on leave, hence posting more than normal...
  4. I'm too busy as a full time carer. I barely get time to go to games... That answer your question?
  5. To end this debate for once and or all.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUt5CQPyWzs Now please (he stops, thinks about an enfraction, is tempted but decides against enflaming the situation) do one 19C....
  6. Abso fecking lutely... I told one of my non Saints supporting mates what's been going on on this messageboard and he was gob smacked. His exact words were "Well Saints fans must be a bunch of muppets them, how many ex players care enough to help a club during its hard times??" And that's it really, someone who gave so much and earnt, relatively speaking, so little, cared enough to at least try and help us. So he failed but so what? At least he tried! Hindsight is a fabulous thing isn't it? We all now know of ML and his interest but at the time things looked so desperate and we needed Pinnacle. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that Matt wasn't told the truth, was strung along like the rest of us. Like many of us, he probably feels a bit used and taken advantage of. The last thing he should feel is guilty... Like DellDays, I relish my heroes, and Le Tiss is a genuine one. For me, just being involved with Pinnacle showed a footballer who genuinely cared fo the club and wanted to help. It didn't work out, but the constant sniping and *****ing from the likes of 19C is desperate and ludicrous and smacks of someone who needs to find fault and with a new billionaire owner, a decent manager and new signings, is now desperately looking around for someone to have a go at. For me Matt will always be one of my all time sporting heroes, right up there with Mick Channon, Kevin Keegan, Ian Botham and Malcolm Marshall. The Pinnacle fiasco is a mere ripple. The man is beyond reproach...
  7. Hmmm.... Footballer in lightweight book shock... Attention seeking freak in psuedo intellectual posturing shock...
  8. Oh dear, let's all laugh at BIG SADDO. Oh the hilarity... Obsessive boy edits post for hilarious comedy outcome. How old are you? Twelve? lol You really do come across as being one of the saddest posters on here. You knew all along that Storrie was getting a bid together but never stated anything, merely hinted that something, somewhere was on the way. You're not Mystic Meg are you? lol You disappear for weeks when made to look stupid or have no answer and now all of a sudden you knew all along about Pompey's takeover. You just happened to not be on this messageboard for two weeks and just happened to know about the Storrie bid but decided to not to tell us.. Are you that desperate to be seen as being important or ITK that you feel the desperate need to impress fans of your club's most bitter rivals? Talk about sad, needy and pathetic... Ok Ho, you are itk, we'll all really impressed, we all think you're very important and very interesting. At no stage are any of us laughing at you .... I am reliably told from a very important source that Saints will buy a player. He might be a defender, he might be a midfielder. He could be a striker. We will be buying but we could be loaning him as well. I will happen soon, or it might not.. What a muppet you are... lol
  9. Bingo! Thank god someone else sees that! To blame Matt for 3 weeks of failure when we've had Lowe, Wilde and Crouch at the helm is just farcical, especially when Le Tiss's most vocal critic on here never made a peep when Lowe was screwing this club into the ground...
  10. So how come you never came up with actual details then? "Something's coming but I can't tell you what it is or who's fronting it or who's involved or how much money they've got..." Surely you weren't hedging your bets and now claiming credit for what was almost certainly a bluff??? lol lol Oh dear... Finger on the pulse my arse...
  11. Trolling For Dummies?
  12. Oh dear, yet another cheap Le Tissier snipe.... And what books would be on your coffee table? One Flew over The Cuckoo's Nest?
  13. Or moreover, the truth be applied to all parties, not just the witchunt of the week... If people want Pandora's box opened then fine but they cannot pick and choose which titbits they want to pick over. If we want truth and answers then fine, but it must be documented and not hearsay, it must fact not gossip. Sadly I think it will raise more questions than answers.. It seems that we cannot move on without having someone to snipe at . The fact that it is Matthew Le Tissier makes it all the sadder and distasteful...
  14. And this coming from the poster who not only rolled over for the likes of Rupert Lowe but also had him tickle his stomach as well...
  15. Phil, with the greatest respect... I'm not the one with the vendetta, 19C is. I totally agree with you that the truth about all of the contributing factors to our current mess. We need to know the truth but can you PLEASE explain to me how it is that 19C is all over Le Tiss like a rash and yet is when it comes to Lowe he says nothing. He said nothing. If he'd been as cute to criticise Lowe I could take his criticism of Matt but like so many posters on here he kept quiet whilst one party ****ed up and yet was very vocal when another did. Crouch messes up he's all over it like a rash. Lowe ****s up... not a peep. Now you have a very valid point here, we do deserve to hear the truth about ceratin **** up but do we need to? Unless we never suspected something or it's news, why rake up old ground, reopen old wounds? Maybe it's just me but I feel that Le Tissier is being pilloried without good reason. He was picked as the figurehead for Pinnacle's bid. It appears that it's not within the grounds of possibility that Le Tissier was lied to. You're asking questions Phil, so am I. I'm asking questions of posters like 19C who are all over Le Tissier, asking questions of him and yet strangely they remained silent when Lowe was quite obviously screwing up left right and centre. I'm asking for some semblance of balance here, it's highly hypocritical to be all over one person's "faults" whilst ignoring someone elses...
  16. Exactly.... So why is 19C pursuing this with such fervour? Matt made a error of judgement, we've all done it. Or it could be that he was, shock horror, lied to?? Either way I cannot see how he's "tarnished his image" or how he's the subject of such a witchunt. That said, 19C tells us that doing nothing or not checking that things were ok makes Matt guilty of negligence. So what of those posters on here who backed Lowe ad infintum, even when it became apparent that his experiment with the "Golden Duo" was farcical, are they answerable as well? If Matt should be questioned then what about 19C and his blinkered backing of Lowe? Should he not have questioned Lowe and his role in our downfall?? Glass houses, stones, 19C... You do the maths...
  17. Tell you what, rather than droning on and on and on and on about it, go to one of his book signings and ask him face to face... But you won't will you as it requires having to balls to say something to someone's face doesn't it? And we all know you won't do that, safer to snipe from behind the safety of your pc eh?
  18. And you know Matt personally do you? You know what he was told? You know what he did? No one, I repeat, no one, knows what happend and this witch hunt is all hypothetical and based on assumptions... The struggle we face isn't down to Pinnacle and the delay in our season. It's due to the fact that our players aren't good enough and we're reaping the benefit of the last years glorious experiment in playing the youth... I've yet to see one post on 19C about the abilities and attributes of our players. So easy to harrang Le Tissier for his role in the Pinnacle fiasco so less easy to look at the mess ML and AP have inherited from four years of gross mismangement....
  19. No, you're not mate. It was a soft, soft goal....
  20. Agree with that. Lancashire was woeful, the Swindon ball boy had a helluva job last night as Lancashire smacked the ball out of play at every opportunity. It culminated in him tapping the ball out of play with two defenders behind him well capable of getting it from him. James, again looked like a rabbit in the headlights, getting caught out time after time after time. Nowhere near a defender. Wayne Thomas, certainly solid in the air but his distribution was shocking, hoofing the ball upfield every time. Wooton, we needed a leader and we got him instead. He may look the part but sadly that's off the pitch. On the pitch he is woeful, no craft, no skill and no ability. Shocking. Lallana, why is he the butt of everyone's ire? He looked the only one, along with Mellis, capable of creating anything. You will need passion and effort in league but you'll also need craft and like him or not he has skill. Paterson is not a winger. He played there last season and I didn't rate him but playing up front this, looked a different player. He's a striker, use him as one. Apart from Davis, who was sensational, and Lambert who was on his own, it's hard to pick out anyone who shone in a night of of complete and utter dullness. It's going to be a long, long season if we can't beat Swindon... who were crap I hasten to add but we were just a whole lot worse....
  21. Best player on the pitch? Some German, Arthur ****sakes... It's all i'm hearing here.... ****ing great support here, non stop OWTSGMI....
  22. Best player on the pitch? Some German, Arthur ****sakes... It's all i'm hearing here.... ****ing great support here, non stop OWTSGMI....
  23. Real shame we're so poor.... The support here is bloody amazing but the team just can't string four passes together....
  24. Excuse me? Perhaps you could explain just where I have been ranting?? I'm not the one accusing one of this club's greatest ever players of almost wantonly wading into the politics of the club, fronting a bid with no regard of the consequence. That would be 19C The fact that you managed to sit on the fence and do it more eloquently than him doesn't make you or him right or me "ranting." Le Tiss had his faults but they pale into insignificance compered to what he gave this club and what he hoped Pinnacle could do. They couldn't, it appears they never could but the fact that, unlike all of the other legends, he did at least try should never be forgotten, certainly not ridiculed or mocked or insulted. I have my heroes, I have people who I respect and admire. That respect doesn't waiver or falter unless in the face of gross betrayal. The fact that Le Tissier made a minor error of judgement doesn't affect that admiration and it certainly doesn't merit the minor witch hunt we've seen on here. Or am I "ranting" again here?
  25. Exactly, the man made a mistake but made one with the very best of intentions. The way he's been pilloried on here makes you think people feel Le Tiss wantonly waded on in here not caring about the ramifications of his actions... That is simply not true. But hey, why let facts get in the way of a good slagathon?
