Whilst we were paying good money to watch these fools play to the best of their sporting ability they were rigging games to earn a few quid on top of their already inflated wages.....no doubt to pay off his dealer. Really takes the **** IMO. Although he was a decent player,he was a Fookin idiot outside of football,I knew him (through things I won't go into on here) and the man led a less than moral life.

Things are improving,after trying to buy tickets for the last couple of days but just getting an error message,Today I actually get to see the view from the seat I haven't purchased or even enquired about.....i still can't buy it though. Perhaps they might even let me sniff the seat tomorrow to build up the excitement.

I don't like it but as I hardly ever buy kits I don't give a monkeys. Whoever approved it obviously wanted to move away from tradition or is unaware of tradition,perhaps there is some unknown reason to go with it,maybe it's for televisual pleasure or to please the sponsors?...who knows? It's cheap and tacky looking and that's exactly what you will look like if you wear it but at the end of the day I don't really give a **** what the players wear as long as they win enough games to stay in the prem.

How can you say everton don't have the threat of relegation?......they are very weak,have little money and don't look convincing at all,the premier league is becoming more of a level playing field for 99% of the clubs in it and it's only a matter of time before one of the big long term stalwart clubs drop out,it wouldn't surprise me at all if it happens next season. The Aston villas,evertons of this world are flirting with danger and if they continue to do so then they will be relegated.

I don't think everton can afford to take the gamble,they will be looking to spend any available cash very very wisely so I don't think jrod will fit their criteria. Tbh it won't be the end of the world if he doesn't sign for us,it will just be a bit of a blow to Adkins who will look as if he is unable to attract even lower league players. We can offer him premier league football,millionaire status and regular first team football.....if that doesn't interest him then the boy is obviously a fool.........give the boy a deadline and move on.

I get what you are saying but what I can't understand is that if the lad has ambition then he's not going to get a better offer from another prem club,the clubs who potentially would want to take a gamble on him are going to be similar clubs to us,Norwich,west ham,reading,lower prem clubs or newly promoted etc etc.......if he's holding out for a bigger northern club then hes going to be waiting a long time as I just can't see bigger clubs taking a gamble on him. Tbh if what you are saying about us being 'a last resort' then I don't know if I would want him here if his hearts not in it.....he needs to wake up and smell the roses if that's the case,we will be making him a millionaire and will be giving him the opportunity to play in the best,most watched league in the world and he wants to stay in the land of the whippet and flat cap.....it just doesn't make sense. IMO I think the deal has been done barring the medical and he's in no hurry to cut his holiday short because there is no need to.

Imo Newcastle (although a decent team) have over achieved in a very poor premier league season,some of the big boys were rubbish last term and allowed the lower status clubs to push on and gain ground. I'd like to think that the premier league is becoming more of a level playing field since we last graced it but I think that is a few years off yet. perhaps we can also take a few scalps and gain the confidence to push further than the the likes of Newcastle,stoke,Norwich etc,I can't imagine that NC hasn't already planned for it to happen....in fact I'd be very surprised if we don't finish top 10 this coming season.

Don't you think it would be easier to give him a medical in Mexico.....just a thought
