I've got a feeling that we will make a 'big name' signing followed by the season ticket pricing announcement.

Whatever happens it is out of our hands and there isn't a thing we can do about it.cortese has a vision and a target,he is acting on behalf of a family that has probably specified that they want a certain amount of return on their investment and cortese will do whatever it takes to fulfill his obligations,if that includes dispensing with NA then that is what he will do. There seems to be little room for sentiment in the world of cortese,he obviously has a job to do and tbh we have to trust his decisions because so far he has delivered success (mostly),I'm not one for blind faith without question, but he is delivering and I'm happy for him to keep doing his stuff. I believe NA was signed to get us to the prem,this has happened a lot sooner than everyone expected so I now think cortese is in a difficult position,does he stick with Nigel or does he stick with the master plan. He doesn't seem the type to stray from his duty so if he now decides NA isn't the man for the task ahead then a change is on the cards.

Owen has far too many interests up north for him to come here,his vast stables for one,his love of horse racing outweighs his love of footbal.....football pays the bills,horse racing takes up most of his time. He comes at a price,not just financially and I don't think we should pay it.

All nonsense of course but if he stays good luck to him,if he goes good luck to him. He's done a great job to get us where we are but he is only a part of an engine driving us forward,a part than can be replaced if necessary.

Spoke to a player today and the trip has definately been cancelled because one of the players blabbed to the echo,he wouldn't say which player it was and I won't say which player I spoke to.

For those of you who think you're going to get a discount just because you bought a season ticket when we were in an inferior league are living in cloud cuckoo land,so ****ing what?,you bought a season ticket big clap for you. I like many others have been going for 40 years,I followed them all around the country/Europe and I've had a season ticket on and off for years,I've spent hundreds in the shop and been to some crap midweek games miles from home on wet evenings having taken time off of work to go,I bought a season ticket when we got relegated from the prem and I expect nothing from the club apart from to be entertained. If you think you deserve something just because you bought a season ticket (your choice) in the championship or L1 then dream on......you are just a customer nothing more nothing less.

Will we finally see the £4m signing on fee paid for delap finally be surpassed now that we are back in the premier league?

They have taken a full page advert in the echo tonight congratulating the team on their promotion. In a way they have played a big part in our success and I think they deserve a mention. Obviously we are also a great project to put on their CV and I hope they do well from the exposure that our success brings.

I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Coventry as I've looked upon them as being a very similar club to saints,small family club with aspirations and dreams just like us. I wish them well and hope they bounce back like we did,sometimes you have to go back to go forward.

I just cannot believe that nobody has benefitted financially from the WHU v Brighton game,not only have the hammers got 3 points at home (where they have been crap) against a decent Brighton side who are pushing for a play off place,but they have also scored 6 goals to up their goal difference......it just doesn't seem right to me. If there is a game to be investigated then this surely is the number 1 candidate,it's no fluke something doesn't add up IMO.

As usual a load of rumours that spread like wildfire......the guts and glory of hooliganism no longer exists,it has been knocked on the head by the biggest firm in the country,the old bill.

I'm with this,I was sat pretty close and he dived,I thought we were above all that nonsense and tbh he should have shot first time or pulled it back.

He had an ok game,he was getting pushed about a bit and for a big lad he didn't give much back,he did well in the air but nothing really came of it and the ref let a lot go when him and lallana should have been given a bit more protection from the obvious tactics of putting them down whatever the cost. He didn't look sharp and he hasn't done for a couple of weeks......perhaps Adkins took a gamble on him and it didn't pay off,who knows? Saying all of that he has been immense for a couple of years so he can be forgiven for not having a decent game now and then.

I didn't travel to fratton on the bubble because I bought a ticket in with the skates,I suspect that a few of the skates ,who like me don't want to be herded and told what to do will do the same. I got to fratton when I wanted to,had a few drinks in a pub,watched the game and went home when I liked....no trouble.

The difference between us and Pompey is that they cheated by paying players and buying players instead of paying their taxes and not paying their running costs. They also didn't honour certain players contracts by not paying out their image rights money. Pompey have never had the income streams we have had,like the academy and the higher gates yet they still went and paid players silly money,at one stage they had 5 current England players in their team,more than any other in the prem at the time yet still nobody raised any concerns of how it was all being paid for......well now we know,they weren't paying their tax.
