Under Strachan his work rate was unbelievable and scoring 23 goals in the top flight merits and England call up IMO. Welbeck and Carroll have never got near that never will. Shame he thought he was bigger than the club towards the end.

We were in their faces more than usual in the first half. We ran out of steam in the second half (especially Ramirez) and once that happened our creativity faded. That is where we need more strength in depth, they bought on Anichebe and Mirallas. We bought on Steve De Ridder.
