Commitment can be measured in many ways. It could be argued that he was more committed than many players who chose the easy route of surrounding themselves with class players and not running the risk of relegation. I think he would be a very similar manager to Kevin Keegan. Maybe not the best, but worshipped by the fans and playing an attacking style of football.

You could be right. Interestingly enough, I saw a photo of Drogba the other day and he was sporting a hair band. Now call me stupid, but the very same hair bands are on sale in Southampton which makes me wonder if there are "any legs" to this story?

I think both sides of the argument are fronted by silly little point scoring morons from time to time, myself included. What is interesting is that while the Echo backed Lowe they were considered to be out of touch or bought by Lowe, when they go against him they are suddenly a font of knowledge.
