  1. Surely its not just the first payment being 1.8 or the 3.0 million which is probably closer to the mark! HMRC will want proof positive in this case of ability to pay the further instalments, that is probably more likely to be the sticking point. HMRC will see no point in prolonging this if they see no real evidence of likely future payments. See you at court tomorrow boys! By the way on another point have they paid their Electric bill? Be funny as f**k if the light went out half way through their game tonight.
  2. Seems very plausible, HMRC normally seem to want 50% of the owed fee, then will do the rest over a short period. When Stockport were under a WUP they paid 50% then 3 more instalments to clear their HMRC debt. Would have thought that its a similar case here, put up or shut up time!
  3. Talks still going on at Notarf Krap :- Peter oh s**t HMRC have walked out, I'll go and tell sky that talks are continuing. They trust me cause I'm really trustworthy & always tell them the truth, You all come up with a cunning plan while I'm gone. Cainrai :- well I'm not going to put any more into this s**t hole of a club! I'll just build a super store on it when its demolished. Jacobs:- I've got a phone number here for a Mr Baldrick he can usually come up with a cunning plan. Storry Teller arrives back:- Well WTF are we going to do now. Jacob:- Shush I'm on the phone to baldrick for a cunning plan! yes yes oh well thanks for that anyway. Storrie:- Well what did he say? Jacobs:- He said he may be a gormless Idiot, but that he was not a complete & utter Idiot & could think of no cunning plan & wouldn't get involved with such a S**t organisation as PFC. He said his reputation was to dear to his heart & didn't want his reputation tarnished & his final words contained 3 F's & and 2 of them were in off, & the other 1 sounded like duck! Secretary enters room, just had this delivered, from a Mr Lowe, it smells a bit Ripe. Storrie:- well open it. Secretary opens box, its that dead Duck that Mandric sent him s couple of years ago. Chainrai:- How apt! talks continue as we speak! Lovely Plumage the Norwegian Blue FEW!
  4. About 24hrs now Isn't it!
  5. The Club have just come out & said that talks are ongoing (maybe comical Storry teller again), but Sky sources saying that the talks have stalled. Maybe that brown paper bag with £120,000 pounds from ticket sales, is just not enough to convince HMRC that they've stabalised the good ship Poopey.
  6. It will be a petting pond in their case so they can all go and fondle fish, or is that what they call a brothel down there?
  7. Breaking news on Sky sports News Sky sources report that talks with HMRC have stalled
  8. Storry teller has just been quoted on Sky news that they need a new owner or they will not be able to pay their debt. I really don't see HMRC who have been screwed over by football for many a year, being extremely helpful in this matter. They want to lay the law down & send a message out to football clubs all over the country. If there is no chance of them getting their money in the near future, then why let them continue to get further into debt. They are INSOLVENT!
  9. Now maybe I'm wrong (probably) but I thought that to go into Administration, that they had to be in a position to continue to trade whilst in Administration (not plausible in this case) & be expected to be able to sell the assets for more than they could get by winding them up? If they do go into Administration, then they get a 9-point penalty, relegation is certain, as is no CVA agreement from HMRC they will still owe footballing debts, they will inevitably get more points deductions from the FL dealing fraudulently extra points, being in administration before Extra points, maybe up to -30-points as of Luton, would anyone be interested in buying that?
  10. Totally agree with that, I hope it just a kick in the pants. Next season we need to be genuine automatic candidates. For that to happen we need a settled side & back-room staff to hit the ground running straight away. Even then I will not expect us to run away with the league (merely hope), I've been around to long to know that in football there are no guarantee's, no matter how much you spend You only have to look at Leeds 3rd season down here 2 play-off defeats 1 at Wembley. You still need time to get a settled side. That is what AP must do between know & the end of the season get a settled mostly winning side. If he does that then I cant see any reason for NC to want to get shot & unsettle things again.
  11. That's exactly what I said on one of the other AP threads. If we put a good run together & look like genuine promotion candidates then AP will still be here. Continue to stutter in the league no matter what happens in the cup games, then he will be gone. NC has backed him with most of the players he wanted, time to put the jigsaw together & produce week in week out.
  12. What like Fin rot or white spot or maybe even Dropsy
  13. After we'd been in Administration, it was reported that a few Admin teams had dismissed us & wouldn't take us on as they felt we had little chance of survival. Now what happens if no one will administer for them? Can they voluntarily go into administration now, I thought they couldn't as they are under the WUP, or am I wrong (probably).
  14. I didn't watch BOB when it was on TV but my son bought me the box set 2 Christmases ago, & I think its outstanding. I would love to see some similar series for the British forces. They could do a tremendous one on the African Campaign, one for The battle of Britain & one for the Atlantic convoys, which they could then tell the true story of the enigma capture (as stated above). Don't see it happening to be honest, unless Sky were to try to do it justice.
  15. My Grandfather was in the Navy not sure if active service during WW1 though he had Died before I came along. My Dad was on HMS Primrose a Flower Class Corvette on the Atlantic Convoys during WW-2 He had a great scrap book of picture & maps that he had drawn up with the convoys marked on encounters with U-boats etc. He had given all his War memorabilia to his eldest Grandson before he died 13 years ago, this thread has reminded me I would really like a copy of it.
  16. The case if it gets to Wednesday will not be thrown out, this is what they are at the high court on Monday for, if the HMRC's WUP is upheld on Monday then, on Wednesday at the WUP they will either have to pay, convince the judge that they are solvent, or have proof positive that they are seriously in a full takeover situation that is liable to happen within 28-days, as per Notts County recently. Now that may also go against them as since Notts County's court case their deal has collapsed, & they are desperately trying to find more investment to pay their tax bill. So I would fully expect unless its a done deal then they would be very very cautious about giving them the benifit of the doubt.
  17. Surely the skates would be happy to be helping out their club with a cash donation at this time. Had to LOL at the relatively small amount to us statement. Talk about rubbing salt in the wound. I'd guess that the poopey fans would have to right it off, as its obvious now that we've not got the money, they have unless they've brown paper bagged it away already.
  18. The point of the thread would you be surprised? In today's footballing world absolutely not. I think it all depends on how we finish the season IMHO, if we end it on a blistering run, & just miss out on the play-off's then I see AP being here long term. The next 2 months could well be make or break for AP, If it all starts coming together on the pitch, good solid full 90-mins of football week in week out then all will be oK. If we continue to stutter, & have no seeming cohesion, then it could well be that NC would act this season. We all know had no pre-season, had to cobble together a team, for the first half of the season with loans etc. But AP has to start getting things right now he has spent a considerable amount of money on players he has chosen, to push this club forward. Now I'm not advocating AP is sacked, but the excuses have to stop now, we have to not only win games but we need to be looking to play good solid winning football. When was the last time we dominated a game for the full 90-mins, and looked like automatic promotion candidates, that is the question that NC will be asking himself from now until the end of the season. I don't expect automatic even next year, as you can never guarantee anything in football, however I would be gutted if we were not very strong challengers. We need to set down our maker for the run in this season, so clubs fear us next year. Down to you AP make it happen & lead us for a long time to come. Here's hoping!
  19. I was busy yesterday, so I've just read up on reports, & glanced through this thread. So it seems to me pretty much the same type of Saints performance of late not a bad result away from home, but not what we'd all hoped for. The worrying thing is we don't seem to be producing a cohesive 90-mins yet. From the start of the season I've said its all about producing a team, playing good solid productive football to give us a good platform for an automatic promotion push next year. I don't see that happening quite yet, but a god run last 10 games to lay down our credentials JPT Final & an FA cup 6th round tie would be a good season. Most of the pieces are there now it just needs AP to put those pieces in the right place to complete the jigsaw.
  20. Same here today 2nd time its happened need to put in my score for Exeter, but cant.
  21. What a nice touch by NC & congratulations to all the family. Also welcome another Saint in Jessica.
  22. So does the footballing debt include 20-million owed to Chaianrai, or are his debts & HMRC & Gaydmark all on top of that? so is that 85-mill debt or a mere 65-mill. Or is it 25 + 20 + HMRC ignore Gaydmark = about 65-mill or 25 + HMRC ignore Gaydmark = 35-mill ish or ???????? I'm confused  Or can they ignore some other debts, just put the red bills down the back of the fire place or hide them in a draw somewhere, if there not already full!
  23. I think if your manager either F*cked your partner, or maybe your best mate at works partner. Then I would think that it would cause problems at your place of buisness. Now I don't know the nature of your buisness, but I would expect it could damage the respect, & moral of the workforce hence damaging that buisness. Terry has done this to a supposed Mate, ex-club mate & still England team mate. This has obviously divided opinion in the England camp, and if reports are to be believed then several senior pros in the camp have expressed their opinion that he would be divisive. Don't forget that should Cashly get injured then Bridgey could well be our LB throughout the tournament, and he will be in the squad no matter what.
  24. Sky sports news reporting that Terry dropped as Captain, but not confirmed at this stage. My opinion its the right decision, I don't want him dropped but agree with the decision.
  25. Good effort Geko I really like the third one, would be more than happy if its along those lines. I like the integration of the stripes at the bottom of the sash. Not been to sure about changing the badge, but maybe its a good time to update the badge, tying the old with the new (being a new start for the club).
