  1. Except Arsenal aren't in the second round...
  2. TBF, he is only 12. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4539786._Hide_in_a_bush__police_tell_scared_boy/
  3. There we have it. If someone had been stabbed in there, it would have been closed for the whole day, if not longer.
  4. So did anyone see if Yates was cordoned off on Satuday and Sunday then? If it was the scene of a stabbing there would have been a huge police presence.

    Fig Rolls

+1. But not with Minty in some Fig Roll fuelled orgy, or anything.

    So am I!
  7. That's the problem you see. The BBC is massively parasitic - for example all the local news you see on the TV will have been in the local papers anything up to a month before (the national papers are the same, TBF). Radio headlines are often just read-out from newspapers etc (it works the other way too, just nowhere near as much). If people only go to the BBC site, newspapers (and commercial broadcasters for that matter) get no income and the bottom of the chain collapses. I suppose if you think about it, it is sort of like the problems the top football teams will have if the cash doesn't make it down the pyramid. However, the only way paywalls will work in the UK is if the copyright laws are changed (which will never happen), to prevent articles being lifted and rewritten by the other sites/broadcasters/papers, forcing the likes of the BBC to do more grass roots stuff OR if the BBC's online operations are taken out of the licence fee funding and forced to go commercial (which again, will never happen).

    Wipeout HD

Tonight was the first time I've played Fury online. Loved it, I must say. Hopefully be doing that more often!
  9. If no-one pays for anything though, there will be no-one able to make a living out of it, so there will be no-one to make the product. However, while I think it'll work in the US, I don't see how it can here with the BBC, which has to be free at point of use.

I wouldn't have cared that much (other than for the comedy value) if so many of them hadn't been gleefully enjoying our administration - many to the point of wishing oblivion on us.
  11. Oapwned.
  12. LOL
  13. He bought the club, stadium etc., from the parent company. The price he paid for these assets was determined by the amount the creditors wanted to settle the debts of Southampton Leisure Holdings PLC. As a result, there is no mortgage. There is no debt.

    Ryan Smith

    +1.
  15. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/article6730823.ece Who is going to file this under bollócks, who is genuinely concerned and who couldn't give a toss?
  16. Bingo. They're also on the labels inside Saints' shirts.
  17. I've tried downloading it but it says it can't install it as it has to be approved by Vodafone. Just have to keep trying, I guess.
  18. I've got one. Great piece of kit although I've had a couple of problems with the Facebook app not updating and a couple of times all my texts have mysteriously disappeared. That should be sorted by the firmware update, but I have to wait until Vodafone approve it before I can install it, which is a pain in the arse.
  19. We should definitely being aiming for it - and I don't think it is an unreasonable aspiration bearing in mind Leeds made it to the Play-offs on -15 points. However, if it pans out that we don't look like getting there this term, we shouldn't start jumping up and down demanding changes be made.

We don't owe anything to anyone. Liebherr purchased the assets of Southampton Leisure Holdings (the club, stadium, training ground etc), the money for which was accepted by the creditors as settlement for the outstanding debt.
  21. Looks like there's a few Saints Tweets now. There's http://www.twitter.com/the_saints and http://www.twitter.com/saintsweb just off the top of my head and I'm sure there's more.
  22. I went on a trip to Taba and Sharm in January. I absolutely loved it. Dahab was a bit pants I thought, but the resort at Taba Heights was good. Mount Sinai is about halfway between Sharm and Taba. Beers were about the 35 Egyptian pound mark, with it being 8Egy to 1GBP.
  23. The Civ games are killers for that. It's so hard not to hit continue ' just one more time'.
  24. Yeah, the defensive side of his game was always suspect, so it's hardly surprising a makeshift Saints side let in five in a friendly almost four months after he left. Oh.
