Of course statistics means f-all if we go and lose half of our remaining games
  2. Who is behind that website? IMHO it would enhance credibility greatly if you knew who was posting the info. Oh, they seem to "get it" all right judging by that thread. Coventry is an old flame of mine (since we shared a room with them in the basement of the PL in the 90's) and they certainly give me no reason to dislike them at the moment
  3. The new James Bond?
  4. She's a mobile nail technician AND a Saints fan. Fancy a manicure in Dubai?
  5. Must be a bittersweet feeling for Bristol Rovers' fans... with him in the side they wouldn't be messing around in League Two...
  6. Jordan Sibley ‏ @jordansibley Rickie Lambert wins the npower Championship Player of the Year award! #saintsfc pic.twitter.com/Pstwixw5
  7. Jordan Sibley ‏ @jordansibley League One Player of the Year award goes to Huddersfield's Jordan Rhodes. Championship award is up next. Effin goal machine...
  8. Jordan Sibley ‏ @jordansibley League Two Player of the Year award goes to Swindon's Matt Ritchie. Bet they wish they had Ritchie and Pack now instead of their squad of overpaid mercenaries...
  9. Great player, sh*t attitude...
  10. Jordan Sibley ‏ @jordansibley Rotherham United beat Pompey to Community Club of the Year.
  11. THey won family club which is not problematic - apparently they have staged a number of initiatives for young fans (que loads of jokes). The real travesty is that they are also nominated in the community club of the year: http://www.football-league.co.uk/flawards/news/20120309/shortlist-in-focus-coca-cola-community-club-of-the-year_2293338_2642418
  12. LOL - hadn't spotted that one!

  15. Well, yes obviously. But recent events on the south coast has led me to focus more on the last part of the description
  16. Ahhh Millwall. Used to think of them only as "that unsympathetic club with psycho fans". Now I rather think of them as "that club that are actually respecting economical restraints and living within their means". As opposed to other clubs not mentioned here...
  17. Looks suspiciously like this forum after a say... Donny defeat The only difference is that they are right - they manager is crap and their team plays crap football. We are just being dramatic...
  18. Can someone explain to me when and where championship highlights are online on e.g. BBC or other UK sites?
  19. Yes, obviously you'll have to look at the above as independent of each other. It fills a purpose nonetheless
  20. Current maximum points for 36 matches: 69 Saints 69 West Ham 69 Reading 65 Middlesbrough 62 Birmingham 60 Cardiff 60 Hull
  21. I kid you not, I thought the same. Stopped mid-sentence twice :-o
  22. Sorry Mr. Sharp, we are Southampton, we substitute who we want to.
  23. "This player chases lost causes".... Is Chung making a takeover bid for Pompey?!?!
  24. 34 years old, born and live in Northern Denmark. Watched Le God on Danish sports news in early 90's and played Saints on CM 93/94. This rather arbitrary choice grew on me and I started following Saints online. First game was in march 2000 where we beat Aston Villa 2-0 (two goals by K.Davies?). Kachloul was immense (and I seem to remember that this was the game where he took an outrageous dive with the defender nowhere near him). I got to yell "Benito Carbone you w*anker" and was surprised that this was seemingly not the proper language to use in an English football stadium Saw us in the relegation season at St.Mary's in 2008 against Birmingham and concluded that Lee Holmes would become a really good player for Saints, that Poortvliet's total football was great and that we were definitely not relegation material. Ehrm... Currently I'm always ready at match days sitting with fingers twitching desperate to be the first one to post things like "goal kick" and "corner to Saints".
