But is that really an apt analogy? As others have pointed out, if for some reason there is value in keeping your assets (in this case players) stable, then why give a key person an economical incentive to sell and buy? Look at our HCDAJFU threads where we discuss potential transfers based on a lot of factors such as current squad, player availability, club ambition, club economical prowess etc. - all from a sports perspective. I don't see us talking about which players could land our staff the biggest bonus. Would you find it to be ok if Adkins currently was on a similar deal? IMHO, such a deal would cast a shade of doubt over every transfer about who's the real beneficiary.

Maybe I'm hopelessly naive, but this to me was the biggest shock of the Redknapp case. It's wrong on so many levels and noone seems to have picked up on it...

You don't find it problematic that the manager of the club is given an economical incentive to continually shift players out as he personally cashes in on every transfer? This is the very reason football agents are being called the leeches of the footballing world as they are constantly trying to arrange for a sale of their client so they can get a slice of the cake. PFC took this discrepancy between the sporting interests (keeping a stable squad together) and personal economical interest to an entirely new level - unless this is a phenomenon that is used at every club (which I would frankly find quite shocking!). Is NA on a similar deal? Other clubs?

I would love it if we booted NA for this guy: http://goo.gl/bsmQJ

You really expected us to field our strongest team today when you forked out £18 for the ticket? You honestly have no idea which way the FA Cup has been heading for the last 5-10 years? Or are you just disappointed with the defeat and trying to pin blame on someone? That's fair enough, I'm pretty annoyed with the defeat myself - but quite happy with the team that NA fielded.

I'm unsure about availability of 3 of 4 defenders (Butterfield, Jaidi and Hooiveldl) Bench: GK, Fonte, Stephens, Cork, Holmes, Reeves, Barnard Alternatively this:

I concur with your version of the events - corresponds well with how I saw the game. Something has definitely happened over the last few games - we have started to look more calm and in control of the games, which was how we started the season. The Leicester game was a low, but it's been a steady rise ever since. We're on the mend and the players know it! Three things I'd like to comment: Firstly, Fox's first yellow card. Looking at the highlights, he gets the ball and then takes out the man at full speed. I am under the impression that this is a yellow because the tackle is rather reckless: So a tackle can be penalised if it is done in a careless, reckless manner or with excessive force. I know you never implied as much, but others seem to believe that you can bust the opponents knee caps and use them as maracas as soon as you just fractionally touch the ball. That's just not how it works. I may be wrong about the tackle, but I suggest that people take a second (third or tenth) view of the tackle and disregard the fact the Fox touches the ball first. And I'd like to underline that this is not a racial issue I have with Fox, as I really do like people from the tattooed race. Secondly, the Guly/Caldwell incident seemed to me to be similar to the Hooiveld/Tudgay episode against Forest (right?). Clearly a "professional foul", but he had at least two players covering. Would have been p*ssed if Hooiveld had been sent off. Thirdly, only when seeing the highlights did I realise what a great save it was that KD pulled off - WOW!

Top effort by those who went. Made us from the keyboard brigade proud!

Is this a joke or have you just not thought it through properly?

Or you could say that we are playing possession football in a blizzard which I would assume is a feat in itself. You try to go out in the snow and see if you can write without typos :-)
