Watching that clip the red card was less surprising than I thought at first. That was a bad hit coming in with the elbow with such force. Hooiveld had defenders behind him, so he wasn't last man - the challenge wasn't dangerous so a clear yellow IMHO. His following block was a game-changer.

Difficult to say. He came on for a cameo appearance when the game was already won and we were cruising. He forced Camp to make a good fingertip save with a curled effort from outside the box and slotted in well in a team that was keeping possession and running down the clock. Under the given circumstances a solid substitutes performance.

So many to choose from. I thought about some great actions from Hooiveld in the first half and went for him. No one had a particularily bad game though...

Saw the entire game but was unable to post for the 2nd half. What a game!!! First half was fairly even with us looking much better in possession and Forest (somewhat) threatening on the counter. One goal lead looked less vulnerable than I'd have expected from a makeshift team in a minor slump playing away from home. The red card seemed slightly harsh (but not compared to Lambert's!) and was decisive - and for once we closed the game down! So many positives to take from today - we're much stronger both mentally and squad-wise than I thought. Honorable mentions to Harding. Patiently waiting your chance and then playing out of position like that, I felt he made the best of the situation today. Had to cut in to cross but seemingly his opponent didn't figure that out?!

Good job so far. Exciting game!

Not everything is working for Connolly, but he does look like a class act today IMHO.
