Big thanks to andysstuff and Gemmel - that was the last site I would have expected to find that info!

Is it true that Reading wants Pompey fans to buy tickets from Reading web site? Did Barnsley do the same? Do we have links proving this?
-
Wouldn't it be easier to have a permanent facepalm installed?
-
Pompey will be relegated one way or the other, so they would be welcome to take 3 pts off Reading.
-
I actually spotted the same ambiguity - is the 25% deferral only for February or the rest of the season?
-
And to add to my above post: the Pompey fans can't claim the same excuses for ignorance as Appy can. They have an obligation to look at the bigger picture and act correspondingly. Unfortunately most of the fans have chosen to focus entirely on the sporting results failing to understanding how that aspect is inseparable from the economical aspects...
-
But: you can't really fault Appy for trying. He's not hired to take care of law or economy - he's hired to win football matches and let people above him in the hierarchy try to strike a balance between sporting results and economy. So obviously he HAS to try to get a striker in if the rules permit it. And if he manages to get in a striker, the blame should lie at Birch's feet I should think (plus at the rules)...

Any news in this: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11674/7568957/ ? I think not...

Forte scored their first in a vital win over Carlisle - seemingly he was MoM: For the first time in an age we had a proper forward to lead the line (Hooosseyy apart). Forte held the ball up, layed it off, used pace to run at defenders, attacked their back line, challanged for headers and ran for lost causes, not forgetting his goal of course and he won the foul for Sheehans free kick. It was about a complete performance as I've seen in years, prob since Stallard days. MOM by a mile. http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=402&fid=17&sty=2&act=1&mid=2115206006

Ipswich have 5 wins and one defeat in their last 6 games, so they could definitely be tricky!

Best video of the season - thank you!

Did we really end with a midfield of all 4 CMs (Hammond, Cork, Chaplow & Morgan)? How were they organised? Did it work?
-
Jack Cork @jackcork1 Wow can't believe the game today. Back 5 were immense! And great goal by Lambo. I've played better myself, but as long as we won I'm happy. Jason Puncheon @jasonpunch Massive 3 points...fans we're brilliant..SKD mom..poor for my own standards..but we won top of the league COYS

Even the players (Lallana, Jaidi, Puncheon etc.) are ecstatic on Twitter - this will boost morale I think! @RadhijaidiOff I'll never forget this game lads... Stick in my mind forever.

Thanks for the 3 points, Kelvin
