  1. Derry, think you had better get things moving pretty quick, cant see anyone wanting to buy the club after that gutless, spineless performance...... I am extremely optimistic.... all of the time....
  2. So would you give up your wages if the company you worked went into administration?? I dont think so. Get real, what KD and JE have done, if true is a wonderful gesture. Let's face it worst case senario, if the club goes under, they will not get paid!! Far play to KD and JE
  3. Mark, delighted to see such a move. I have already sent a PM to Derry, he has my contact details. I run my own small company, have business experience and a few qualifications. I have already spent (lost) money buying shares so would be happy to part of anything that is viable and run correctly with Saints best interest at the heart. I am a fan of some 40+ years, a season ticket holder for some 30 years; have travelled the country indeed Europe watchin Saints - just for the record if there any sad b£$%^%$s out there doubting the good intentions of those on this thread!
  4. Couldnt support another club......... my wife would have a field day, shopping, gardening, etc etc etc etc .... oh god please, please send someone with money the alternative is to hard to bear
  5. Some very interesting comments on this thread and many that have made me think a little. If say 10,000 supporters put in £1000 each, that would generate £10m. If Southampton City Council were genuine in their interest in the ground then a rescue surely would not be out of the question. 10000 supporters could well be 6000 or even 5000, as I am sure there are of number of supporters who would invest more than £1000. I for one, having already lost £5k in shares would consider £10k in such a scheme. I am sure people like Crouch, maybe even Le Tiss, would be willing to invest even more. It would not take long to generate enough to buy back the club, providing the SCC were involved to help with the ground. To form a holding co would take a day; to sell 20,000 shares at say £500 each to generate the cash, say 7 - 10 days. Feasible. Thoughts please! COYR
  6. On the OS as well http://saintsfc.co.uk/articles/article.php?page_id=11581
  7. Its on AIM, its official!!
  8. Well all those who stated so vehmently that they would never go into St Mary's again whilst RL was in charge, will you be there on Saturday?????? According to the Echo he's resigned. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/4254471.Lowe_and_Wilde_resign_from_Saints/ Frankly I doubt that many will return, probably manage 20k attendance on Saturday and then only because prices have been slashed. Would be gr8 to think the fans would come back in there numbers to show that there is a wealth of support in the city, but I guess it will be the die hards that will always be there, come what may and the stay aways will, simply stay away................... we wait to see!!!!! COYR's
  9. 3-0 Saga, Euell, one size
  10. I see plenty of posts concerning where we will end up, whether it is in our own hands, but surely we need to look at the fixtures of the teams involved in the relegation battle. Well here are the remaining games for teams in the relegation battle. SAINTS Derby H QPR H Bl’pool A Charlton H Watford A Wolves A Palace H Sheff Wed A Burnley H Forrest A Forrest Watford A Burnley A Wolves H Barnsley A Bristol C H Sheff U A Coventry H Bl’pool A SAINTS H Bl’pool Sheff U A Barnsley A SAINTS H Plymouth H Preston A Reading H Charlton A Forrest H Swansea A Norwich Cardiff H Plymouth H Birmingham A Sheff Wed H Swansea A Watford H Ipswich A Reading H Charlton A Barnsley Birmingham H Bl’pool H Palace H Derby A Forrest H Sheff U A Watford A Swansea H Reading A Coventry A Wolves H Plym’th A Watford Forrest H Shf Wed H Coventry A Ipswich A Don’ster A SAINTS H Barnsley H Norwich A Bir’ham H Coventry A Derby H Plymouth Swa’sea A Norwich A Burnley H Bl’pool A Cov’try H Bir’ham A Don’ster H QPR A Barnsley H Of these games I would predict that Saints will gain 16 -19 points, Watford 17, Barnsley 11, Plymouth 10, Norwich 9, Forrest 7 and Blackpool 6. That would leave the following points totals: Watford 59 Saints 53-56 Plymouth 53 Barnsley 50 Blackpool 48 Forrest 48 Norwich 46 Charlton well below everyone else!! Blackpool, Forrest, Norwich and Barnsley on paper have a far worst run in than we do. With the other teams having particulaly difficult 2 games on today and on Saturday it is even more important for Saints to win the two home games. Win our next 2 games and IMO we would be out of the bottom 3. Then the pressure switches to the teams below us. So there is hope!! COYR's!!
  11. Brum 0 2 Saints Followed by 10 more straight wins and we are in the play offs!!
  12. This is one of the few posts that makes sense. No point in protesting now, our survival in the CCC should be the most important issue at the present time. Get behind the manager, the players and team for the remaining games of this season. At the end or when we are safe that is the time to protest. But there is one point that people seem to miss, no matter how much people protest, RL and MW will go nowhere until someone buys them out.
  13. Well as usual most believe we will not achieve safety. Wins bread confidence, confidence gives results. 3 wins in a row makes us one of the inform sides and as such we go into the brum game with a point a prove. Brum were lucky to beat us in August. I would not be surprised to see three more wins, Brum, derby and QPR. We are playing well enough; the team has spirit; the players want to play for each other; for the team and more importantly for the manager. Three more wins will put us on 46 points, just another 9 points from safety. COYR
  14. 3-0 to Saints!! COYR's!!!!!
  15. 3-0 to Saints!! COYR's!!!!!
  16. As usual Apline writes total crap and tries to wind up everyone else. I have had a season ticket since the late 70's when saints introduced Under West Stand Season tickets and as a true loyal supporter who loves the club, not the pratt in charge, I still have a season ticket as does my son. What's more I will still have a ST next season. I have no problem with the club slashing prices if it makes a difference and gets more supporters into the ground. A couple of comments posted, free voucher for the saints shop or some other concession to ST holders would surely appease thiose ST holders who will complain. My only concern is that there will idiots protesting about RL et al during the game and that will do no good. Everyone has a right to protest but IMO it does no good from the players point of view to hear negative chants during, before or as they walk off the pitch. So, yes in favour of slashing prices, I for one do not want any concession as ST holder, but only if supporters get behind the team.
  17. Lowe has called for a crisis meeting with JP and the players. Is this it for JP??? http://m6live.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4059684.Lowe_calls_Saints_crisis_meeting/
  18. Forgot to say I will be there......... as always!! COYRs
  19. It's about time everyone forgot about their grievances and went down to St. Marys and supported the players, got behind the team and hopefully see a good match. The last home league game produced a good performance, 1-1 draw against Reading, a new look defence and Saga back there’s real hope that we can gain back to back wins. So come on, let’s get behind the team and get the attendance up to 20000+. It’s our club, our team, COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!
  20. Saints will win but as usual it wont be easy! 1-0 at HT then we'll get 2 more in teh last 5 mins after a string of Davis saves Saints 3 0 Doncaster COYR!!!!
  21. Absolutely right! 3 wins and 2 draws is the minimum requirement, 4 wins would be better, 5 wins and I'll need someone to pinch me and wake me up!
  22. Oh dear did I touch a nerve??!?!?!!? She could be in the alps, Italy does have a piece of the alps, dont think the dolomites go up to 3000m?? Anyway at least she was positive!!
  23. As usual Alpine, you cant see the positive side of anything. The point was: 3000m up in the snow, but unlike your normal negative rant, it was a positive posting. So a true Apline Saint??? In my opinion yes!! COYR
  24. That's it in a nut shell.... I do not want to see Saints in this desparate situation but all the crap that people post, all the negative ****e is simply derogatory, sense less and will get us nowhere. The pratts in charge will not leave, live with it, support the team, not the board, get behind the players, go to home matches and support the team!! So why dont you **** off Ron!!
  25. And a very Happy New Year to you Ottery!! Be positive can't be doin with all the negativity on this site, hence the lack of postings!! But just luv it when we win!! Saints thro and thro! Come on you Reds
