Let's face most players 99.99% are only interested in money. If we offer the best L1 players the going rate plus 5-7% most will take it in this league. We only need to team to get us out of L1. We will need another to get out of the fizzy pop league and anotehr to stay in the Prem. It will take time, but expect big a turn over of the players....

Well whatever happens Makus Liebherr cannot be as bad as the likes of Lowe, Widle and the two Neanderthals Hoon and Dilieu. Herr Liebherr will undoubtedly instill good business practice within the club and hopefully have a director of football to look after the football side. As stated by the first poster we should all look forward, get behind the team and fill SMS!! Come on you Reds!!

Assume this as fry has stated the Swiss interest before. He is now saying an unnamed bidder. It is someone or some group not previously mentioned. Personally I really do not care who it is as long as someone comes in and buys the club soon!!

Nick: only heard the last bit on Radio Solent @ 8:20, Pinnacle not involved and unnamed bidder in advance talks looking for a rapid completion etc. So assume the Swiss were not involved.

I had heard before, the posts on here, that the Austrian consortium was indeed Red Bull... I did not bother posting as thought it was total rubbish. Since then there have been rumours so who knows. Fry told Solent it was not the Swiss nor was it Pinnacle. So maybe it will be Saints playing at the Red Bull St Mary's stadium????

No other club but Saints. If no SFC I will not support any club except England and my local club AFC Hiltingbury. Nothing would tempt me to support another club in a professional league. Red n White til I die!!!!

I agree with Apline Saint... The FL appears to back tracking having realised taht they will effectively put a club out of business. Now that is bad PR.

Latest rumours/sightings: 8 people from the Swiss consortium at St Mary's yesterday for talks with Fry. Deal expected to go through quickly. KD going as new goalkeeper already lined up. How reliable is the source...... not sure but thought the above might give a little hope to all.

The other thread was messages to Matt - this is a message to the a$%^holes who cannot see passed their own d"£$s and understand the work and committment people and shown and done in an effort to save this club.

What are you on? Get a life. The man tried to save the club, he has worked tiredlessly along with TL to brooker the deal.

Matt deserves our thanks - he had the balls to try to do something. It didnt work out but he of people does not deserve teh comments made some mindless b"£$%^ds on here. Where was Mr Southampton, he work out on us before and has done to try to put together a group to save the club. Honestly some people on here have no idea. No idea about finance, about running a company or the legalities of copmp[leting a buy out. Thanks for trying Matt, you did your best but have been let down by others.

Well to those who slagg off probably the greatest player to play this club you should be ashamed of yourselves. Matt Le Tissier was the only person to have any connection with the club who had the balls to get up and try to do something to save the SFC. He had the balls to do it. More than the so called supporters who happily sit infront of their PC and slagg off the man for trying to save the club. We cannot and should not blame anyone, in particualr Matt Le Tiss. We do not know the true facts. In Lynam's statement he hints that the Pinnacle group may come back. In any case Fry seems to think he will succeed in selling the club. There is hope once more!!

I have been told by an employee of SFC that the Pinnacle takeover will happen today. Furthermore Hoddle is the front runner to be manager.
