corner.. last chance
-
Sounds like de Ridder has brought some much needed width.
-
At last!
-
How many corners is that we've had? oooh Guly free header
-
Tempting fate, but it sounds good.. "Lee outstanding"

I wonder if Chaplow is injured, knackered, rotated or just dropped. Nice to have the choices though.
-
Tax evading? In Italy it may be a national sport but if you pay it like I do it's extortionate.
-
Perhaps there's a reason. Here your footie allegiances don't cause you to be banned. Ask Corp or Mack or Mero or PFC, all of whom have different opinions and posting styles.

Reminds me of the story of a householder phoning the police as somebody was trying to break into their house. "Sorry, madam, nobody is available at the moment" Householder turns round and shouts "John, go and get your dad's old service revolver, it's in my bottom drawer"!. A few minutes later 3 squad cars scream up. As things get sorted out the police complain - "But you said you had a gun". "You said you had no cars available..."

After Reading's very wise decision to sell ticket direct perhaps Southampton should make it very clear to Portsmouth that if they don't pay up they won't release the tickets. A couple of thousand Portsmouth fans kept on the buses back at Fratton due to the failure of their own club to pass on the money would have an interesting impact on the streets of Fratton..

My first and last contribution to this thread. I see that Turkish is being a **** as usual. A **** can give so much pleasure, but not this one. And before the mods give me grief, I actually typed in four asterisks and will leave it to the reader to decide their own word: it doesn't even have to be four letters.

I remember when I first watched Saints in the late 1960/early 70s: the crowd always reserved a special welcome for Stoke City. Captain Smith came from there..

[quote name=Shroppie;1291594Was in the Leeds family stand and screamed when we scored. Managed to turn it into a cry of anguish and got away with it' date=' just. [/quote] What did you do at the end? Scream and run?;-)

True, but he was still running and covering right to the end; didn't let his bad game affect the effort he put in.

Top Ten Facts About Southampton (Care of leeds Fans)
suewhistle replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints
Poor little Turkish. He's really a very conformist chap worried about what people think of him. Very judgemental too, and unable to see anybody else's point of view. Not my style to dress up in beachwear etc. either, but who the **** is worried about that. Better a group of them than a group of Turkishes. -
This season the manager of my women's footie team has got me doing specialist goal-keeper training. So obviously I'm biased and don't feel I can vote in this poll.... :-)

The chasing down toward the end was great, and although Chaplow didn't have the best of games he was going until the last minute. That run off the ball and shot right at the end just summed up his and the team's spirit.

Can I breathe now?

Morgan? You're joking surely. He's not only done many interceptions but he's calmed the game down and kept possession.
-
Cork unusually innaccurate, Puncheon trying to do too much sometimes - should keep it simple. Chaplow showing energy but not quite there yet, some sloppiness in defence inviting problems and... we're winning. Seeing that Lambert finish reminds me of reading an article in The Guardian this morning about goal scoring finishers. I think Leeds are riding a wave of adrenalin at the moment and we can only hope they flag towards the end.

Just noticed this, which is an apt illustration to pompey as to how to spend your money if you come into a bit of extra cash: note both ground and training ground improvements... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17112442

There are a number of players, but SOPCAST and Veetle are worth getting. Do it now, usual internet caution applies, but they are both above board programs.

You've just reminded me to put some beers in the 'fridge.
