  1. Which generalisations, just so I know? Love, 'I'd prefer to have Ralph', of the 'anti-Ralph' brigade
  2. Epitomised by the way we were knocking the ball about at the end, seemingly content with the job done, and keeping the score below 9. When we had our decent opening spell they also seemed happy to not concede, on many occasions knocking it all the way back to McCarthy from well inside their half, playing propoganda football, as the wee Gordon Strachan used to call it. It's all show, and then crumbles when they deign to attack. Against Brighton I will be looking for some grit, and balls, but am not holding my breath. Too many soft players, with a manager whose style does nothing to adapt or, occasionally, actually grind out a result. No, there aren't many alternatives, and I'd prefer to have Ralph, but god I wish he wouldn't come off a 5-2 defeat and say he was happy how we played. It's like a parallel universe.
  3. That’s the team. Pick it and we will win. Redmond and McCarthy in and can’t see a win.
  4. Yeah. Brave is definitely a word I wouldn’t associate with our lot. It’s the lack of guts and bravery that’s precisely the problem. We need some solidity and fight. Resilience. Too many ‘flick on’ players and Bertrand’s lackadaisical wag of playing seems to sum it up perfectly. Plays like a training game at all times. No-one with balls out desire. That’s the main problem for me. That and a keeper (today) who doesn’t do anything to install confidence in those ahead of him. Forster at least appears to do that, even if he has a different set of faults.
  5. No worries
  6. Ok. No worries.
  7. Not sure I follow. He’s applied for Jamaican citizenship or at least qualification to play for the country. Er. Prick.
  8. Ralph happy with performance. Oh. Ok.
  9. Sounds: that was a very obvious penalty. Correct. Clear and obvious error. VAR kind karma to us.
  10. Dole office. Jamaica. Anywhere. Really terrible footballer. But wasn’t his usual standard tonight. Bit higher.
  11. Totally agree
  12. Yep. Me too. Trouble with this resting policy is it does put an awful lot of pressure on the next one. But hey. Positives - Vestergard, JWP, Diallo, and Redmond in places. Amazingly. Bad - McCarthy, Salisu, Djenepo, Bertrand. We so need KWP and Diallo in the side. And Forster back at the weekend please. That final ten to fifteen minutes is certainly something to build on though. So not all bad.
  13. Finishing pretty well. Something to build on. Structure so much better with Diallo on. Tighten up and we should be okay v Brighton. But will have to fight.
  14. Where is his best position because I’m struggling to see it
  15. Another pile of shit pass from Salisu
  16. Salisu does play like he doesn’t really give a toss doesn’t he?
  17. We do lack any kind of backbone. Or structure.
  18. Redmond has actually been okay. I know. Weird. But so many too loose players letting slip. Can’t against these. Or anyone.
  19. There’s just no robustness. No solidity. Everywhere there are loose passes and the prospect of losing the ball too easily. And then the house of cards fall with a puff of wind. It’s at the manager’s door. Needs coaching. Tactics. Strength. Every week the same.
  20. As i said. Lunatic selection.
  21. Another soft as shit goal. Salisu just so loose. Awful. Powder puff everywhere. McCarthy invisible. Atrocious.
  22. Wtf was that Adams? Then McCarthy nowhere
  23. Salisu needs to get closer to his man
  24. Cinchenko just wrestling Vest there. Rugby.
  25. So shit
