  1. 9-0 (to Leicester) is 200-1 on Betfair... BUT: One-off game, TBH anything can happen. Be great if we turn up. We live in hope of a final appearance. From Ralph's perspective it is important to turn around a pretty dreadful season, overall.
  2. We'll beat Palace. Maybe one other point from the rest - I'd say Fulham. We're too easy to beat.
  3. Interesting how well organised just about every other Prem team looks compared to us. Which is down to the coach. Surely.
  4. aged well
  5. Ralph is really not all that, is he? Would like Potter. Ex Saint. Level headed, knows how to set a side up to be solid. Sadly that ship has sailed. Can only see that the flimsiness comes from the coach. And having too many 'losing possession' players like Walcott and Redmond. Perhaps Oriel is a bigger miss than we thought. But bloody hell, oh for a bit of structure.
  6. They look so ‘uncoached’ and sloppy
  7. Dear oh dear
  8. Pleasure. I hope you're right.
  9. Our strongest team line-up. Good.
  10. I think we'll lose this one, sorry. Half an eye on FA Cup and avoiding injuries, thinking we're safe, underestimating them and especially as they have nothing to lose. Equals home win I suspect. Would be happy with a draw and no injuries.
  11. We are away. But yes.
  12. Totally agree. Hugely overrated.
  13. I know. The question was which players would make our squad
  14. Oh god. They're talking about Winks. Absolutely awful. Just about the most overrated player in the league
  15. No, but couldn't have harmed. Some would even stretch to 'sweetener'. Who would we want coming from them this time? Son would be nice... 😉
  16. I think Maitland-Niles is decent, and would be excellent cover for when Ward-Prowse gets injured (for it has to happen, or he is superhuman) or even if we can re-persuade him about being a defender occasionally
  17. Off to see his Danish fwend Bloody Spurs. Hate them so much.
  18. This. I actually think he frees up other players by his threat and pace. Sure, his final ball is not great, and his finishing average, but he's an upgrade on Long - and is a thoroughly good bloke who does seem to genuinely like the club. All of which is in his favour.
  19. same here. Anka was good
  20. This. Shrewd assessment. Ralph's rigidity to one way of playing is not good. That said, when it works, it's great. We rode our luck yesterday; watching it back it could easily have gone their way in key moments, and our finishing/Walcott's decision making will be punished in other games. What a player Armstrong is, though.
  21. They scored 5 against Chelsea with incisive, clinical attacks. Not hopeful on this one defensively but fingers crossed. Salisu in for Bednarek?
  22. Actually it was Kelvin Davis
  23. Thank you Ottowa. I think it may be a neurosis
  24. Probably, bellend
  25. 2-1 united. Good. Shaw excellent this season.
