Early goal for us and it will turn very toxic very quickly. In fact even 0-0 at half time and it will. Need to not think we're safe already, and go for it. Hope Armstrong is in the side and very much hope Vestergard is not. If he tinkers like that again we will lose, no question.

Weren't they fantastic? That left back is exceptional. But all the movement was great to watch. Terrific team Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Or offside. Strange their Var button not working tonight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Snodgrass injured possibly. Ooh. Goal difference too now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The way he turned his man, under pressure, was also excellent.

Definitely something about him. Strong, eye for a pass, works hard. Ahead of Obafemi for me. Keep him and he'll come good in terms of goals too.

In my opinion getting into Europe would be pretty hard to handle for a club with as thin a squad as ours and lack of cash (or willing) to buy decent cover players. Also not sure we will finish above Wolves and Everton (or Sheffield Utd or Arsenal or Man U), but there you go.

Reina's slow jogging back from their last-minute corner that Armstrong scored from (after that absolutely fantastic bit of play from Che Adams, haters) was very amusing.

I disagree. Puts Watford in further do do and Norwich almost down. Just need West Ham to lose tomorrow. Or do you mean Europe for saints...? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

keep em quiet and wait for the fans to get on their backs. Basically what Burnley did. 3 points would be lovely and allow us to plan for next season. Would be funny to see them go down

Agree about Obafemi. Don't rate him. And seems to have a bit of an attitude if you ask me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cracking result. You all owe me because I did my completely 100% record of diligently avoiding scores all day and telling my kids I'd be v annoyed if they even coughed while watching. Foolproof. Worked with Chelsea, Spurs, and now Villa. Happy days

They are 4-1 to beat us, which strikes me as value, sadly. If you can be cheered by winning dosh. Would prefer three points, obvs. But if picks Vestergard I may have to lump on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hope so! Need to not lose to Villa, definitely!
-
In my view he is a good deal better than Obafemi and needs a decent chance, rather than five minutes when the game is gone. Give him a run in the team. He needs some decent man management, which is not Ralph's strong point IMO
-
Yeah, former Birmingham player Che Adams. Can't think why he wouldn't be extra motivated to prove himself against Villa. Total mystery.
-
I've met him. Really good guy.

It was offside. Pen was a pen. Maguire should have been sent off. Two out of three not too bad. Best team won. Small earthquake, no-one died
-
Will be at Spurs next season is my guess
-
You didn't see the game yesterday then. Amazingly unlucky against Spurs, who were in trouble against them throughout. Also, perhaps didn't notice how bad our defence was and how unthreatening our attack was at the weekend. Equals away win in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

WE don't seem to actually GET AT THEM in the way we do when we're away. They seem to get a nosebleed in the final third, instead of actually trying to beat their man, get a cross in, or attack the penalty box as they should. Does Ralph caution them too much against getting suckered by a break away? We lost basically when Boufal went off, as every time he got the ball he tried to do what none of the others do - beat his man and make something happen. Djenepo is a cut-price Boufal who forgets to take the ball with him. All the others just think that possession football brings points (at home). Strikes me it's a managerial issue, as he's not setting them up right (Vestergard as ball player? Really?), can't change things mid-game, and only has an 'away' strategy based on breakaways. At home he's completely confused. What's Redmond's injury? Seems a bit mysterious.
