Interesting and commendable that we have identified lack of muscle in our spine in this pursuit of Mangala and Salisu. We missed some bit and protection of the back line when Wanyama went and for all of Hoj's downsides he did break up play well on occasion.

Frankly think we're lucky they're not in for Ings to replace Kane, tbh. That would be far more damaging than losing Hoj, who is quite overrated in my opinion.

Looked good and combative whenever I’ve seen Fulham play on tv. I’d have him back in the squad, personally, but if they offer say £20m that would be excellent business. JWP simply can’t play every game nest season too. He needs the odd rest.
