Would be amazing. As in, I'd be amazed if they'd let us. Matic available from Man U? Poss off to Spurs but worth a punt?
-
Get very tight and physical on Willian to stop him playing. He doesn't like that. Who in our team can do that? Hmmm. Romeu has to play this one against his old club. Rest Hoj?

Spurs supporting mate suggested we take Wanyama back. I'd have him if he was cheap and would come. Good protection for defence. Might solve problem of Not Having to shell out much more on a quality CB Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I detest spurs. Even more as I had a double on a Watford, Spurs win today. Argh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Aston Villa 1 - 3 Saints - FT - Reactions and Christmas Cheer!
DT replied to Heisenberg's topic in The Saints
My 100% tactic of avoiding all scores until FT worked a treat again. Bloody great result and a good set from others. Excellent. Happy bunny. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
As in, we won't get him in January? Or we will, and have been after him for a while?

The players who are off in the summer should not be picked as they will just be going through the motions and trying to avoid injury. I mean, you'd have thought this was common sense, right? Looking at you Bertrand, and YOU Redders. (one presumes). Cedders went ages ago (if there is any buyer)

For those going down the binary route of: it's not the manager, it's the players, I'm afraid I think it's both. And having poor coaches. At the very least we need a coach for Ralph, centre back, left back, centre mid. And that will cost what, £50m at least? Not going to happen as the owner is skint. Cheapest option to get biggest change would be new manager, but that isn't going to happen either. So I suspect it will be put some names out that we might get, get beaten to them by other clubs, and then last-minute panic buy in defence. Obviously I hope not, but have been pushed this way by the last decade, frankly. Galling to look at other clubs where the fundamentals are good, and spread right through the club from the very top. Ours looks like it is the exact opposite at the moment. Happy 2020 everyone!

But they have to be really cheap and young, clearly. The youth policy will be another nail in the coffin

Not yet appara. Arteta to the Arsenal also possible. Weird move Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Brighton look excellent. Light years ahead of us. Good manager, team ethic, excellent defence and midfield. Very depressing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did Redmond head off towards the bar, stop, go sideways a bit, then the other way, then back, and lose his place/drink?

Also, it’s very naff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He doesn’t need to prove his nativity I’m afraid Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’ll cost a fortune if we don’t shift the manager out. Sorry Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Because it’s all going so well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

He would tighten it up, no question, and wouldn’t pick such a lightweight midfield Or Redmond ever, which would get my vote. He’d also probably pick Yoshida, as I would. And he’d get more out of tactical substitutions at correct times. And he’d put the living fear into them. All opinion, obviously.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not sure that’s the answer. Too risky. Allardyce is proven. Won’t be pretty, but may save the club’s existence. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Clueless without his mate. Tactic less. Unable to motivate. Can’t pick a team. Why do we turn everything to ****e? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wish they would. That was appalling and it’s definitely at his door Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bye Ralph. Thanks for about three decent performances Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They have woken up. With two minutes to go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don’t want to see Hoj start again. Ali Dia level performance. Romeu our one good performance tonight. Ings ok too I suppose. But really there is no desire. And no tactics. Big January window, maybe with a new manager. Then we might have a chance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Armstrong gets 6 minutes. Ralph genius strikes again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Romeu has looked ok. At least knows about keeping the ball. Nice shot Stephens. Ball goes for a throw in Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
