We need to act swiftly and recognise that Puel is not the one. But we won't. We'll try to edge past January because a new manager would mean spending. Useless tactics, awful selections, but most of all, such dreariness mirroring his own personality. You can tell the players don't like it or him, and it is time to face up to that. His performances reveal that without a decent midfield defence in front of him his paucity as a keeper show up. And they are. To think of the credit he took for all those clean sheets.
