Don't fancy our trip to Boro in the penultimate game, I must say, but Coventry at home on the last day is one of the best we could hope for. I believe Reading will do much better than West Ham, perhaps even pipping us into second. I don't care, but we must go automatic. Can't cope with play-offs, and feel sure that having been in a good position for so long, dropping away now would sap morale and we'd find it hard to motivate for the play-offs. So, Reading, Saints, then Hammers, who'll similarly fail in the play-offs.

I'm going to pipe up here as one of KD's biggest critics. He was very good today. If I was hugely nitpicking I'd say his 'worldy' was partly as a result of not coming for the cross very well but that really is to undermine a very characterful performance, full of brilliant shot-stopping. I can't STAND Derby as my brother in law loves them and keeps singing their one and only song 'we are Derby, super Derby, super Rams, super Derby', which is a pile of old doo doo. I never hear from him when they lose, which will be tomorrow I hope otherwise the phone is getting switched off. Also, there was THAT match. So my perfect Saturday is Saints win, Pompey lose, Derby lose and get players sent off/injured. That is all.
