It could be argued that the “massive rebuilding job” was going moderately successfully, if we hadn’t throw away so many points by the outrageous commitment to a tactical approach that clearly isn’t fit for purpose with this squad. People aren’t arguing that it was going to be tough, and our squad could be better, but we’ve given ourselves absolutely no chance and the season was a write off by November because of your mate Russell’s vanity project and stubborn obsession with fucking about at the back for no gain. We’ve made a difficult job absolutely impossible by sticking with it, and him.
