People calling for Downs - have you actually watched the games he’s played in this season? Yes he’s big, but that’s literally the only useful attribute he has and he doesn’t do anything useful with it. He can’t even stand in the right place and make the runs to make himself a nuisance. He can’t time a jump, he can’t control a pass, he’s weak, he can’t finish. God help us if he’s starting. We’re better off with Azaz playing behind Arma with Leo and Fellows wide IMO. I’d rather have Stephens up top than Downs.

I don’t think it’s snobbery to not want a complete prick as your manager. Nathan Jones is a complete prick but is doing a great job at this level, would you want him? We’ve got too many pricks at this club already, Rodgers is a prick, a load of our recent managers were pricks, we don’t need more. I don’t think Still is a prick and that’s why people were desperate for him to succeed, but sadly he’s just terrible.

Think they’ve all been more than fair with Still. Glen especially saying the players are shit, but this squad is full of players who’ve been great at this level. Under Still they’re all as bad as they’ve ever been

Yeah, any one of them would be a huge improvement. Any proper football person would command some respect and get a better tune out of a really decent squad of players at this level. It’s incredible how bad we’ve managed to be with this squad, he’s really had to find new ways to be worse than the week before. Impressive even.

End of the day, if he can’t beat any of the dross we’ve just played and failed to beat, with the squad of players we’ve got, he’s got no business being in the job. I was hopeful, he seemed honest and I got sucked into the hot prospect and quality coach hype, but he’s fucking shit. Get rid asap before more damage is done

Yes Wood had a shocker last night, but he’s been generally good. THB barely jogging back for their first as they’re breaking, then just stands there 2 yards behind everyone else to play them onside for the 2nd. Kind of flukey goal I know but if he gets out then it doesn’t happen. He generally slows us down at every opportunity and doesn’t look interested to me, and has been that way all season.

Trust the process etc THB needs dropping again after tonight, and we don’t need 3 CBs anyway. Don’t really care, this season is a write off already.

Just so weak aren’t we. Look decent in short spells but absolutely shit the bed as soon as the opposition put a bit of pressure on. So easy to score against, so easy to defend against. Pathetic

Problem is we don’t have a half decent big powerful centre forward, so there’s no point playing your wing backs and fizzing in crosses 6’5 in the air for nobody to get on the end of. Surely it’s the manager’s job to realise your approach isn’t working and change it. Our only threat was Scienza getting on the ball and running at them, surely we’d have been better off getting either our new skilful 10 and/or new skilful winger on the pitch to try and create something through the lines, rather than leaving 5 defenders on the pitch with nothing to do. Second half was dross and we let the game pass us by. Unbelievable that we didn’t change anything. 2 wins from 10 - just squeaking past newly promoted Wrexham who are shit, and Sheff Utd who are joint bottom. Awful stuff.

Granted, but playing this shit 5 at the back hasn’t exactly got us winning, or playing well. Point is, the manager wanted to play 4-2-3-1 or something along those lines, complained that he didn’t have the players to do it so we had to endure his less preferred system, which also hasn’t worked. The club spent a fortune on players to fit his preferred system which he’s since ditched, dropped the players he wanted, and we’re still shit and failing to beat shit teams who will be in a relegation scrap. Setting up with three CBs has obvious flaws, especially against a side who aren’t even there to win. It’s madness to stick with it when it looks as bad as it did in the 2nd half today against a completely passive team there for the taking.

Still said we have to play this shit 5 at the back (not his preferred system), because he didn’t have a 10 or a winger. He’s got all of that, they’re quite clearly our best players, but we stick with this defensive minded boring bullshit against relegation fodder at home. Even with 70 mins gone and 0-0, he’s too scared to change it. Instead we have our prized winger thrown in at wing back. I know we can’t keep chopping and changing and I liked the way he came across, but the performances and results are fucking terrible and his excuses are wearing thin. He’s desperately trying to stumble across a winning formula more by luck than judgement and hoping it’ll come good, which it won’t. SR need to stop fucking about and being clever and employ a proper football person who’s been there and done it, will command respect, and put his best players in their best fucking positions and get on with it.

We need to get shot of SR before anything worthwhile is going to happen. People say Still Out and I agree, but they’ll only go and get another clever signing and try to reinvent football, and fail. We need a proper football person who knows what they’re doing, we’re sinking fast and happily playing out a 0-0 with 5 at the back against a side as shit as Swansea is criminal
