I think he’s looked alright, getting in some decent positions and could’ve scored with a better first touch. He’s got very little to aim at when he does get forward, which isn’t a shock considering Juric forgot to play a striker

Agreed. I just think it’s been so long since we’ve seen competent Premier league CBs that we’re used to it. The likes of Bednarek and Stephens were 3/4th choice when we last looked like a premier league side

Interesting that our 2 wins have come from games that we haven’t played particularly well, but we’ll take it. 5 at the back is completely pointless if you’re not going to have any of your 3 CBs within 10 yards of their strikers, and there’s a chasm in the middle of your central midfield that the opposition can stroll through at will. Need to be far better to get anything out of Bournemouth and Brighton.
