Yes I was down for about half an hour. Then I remembered that I'll be at St Mary's next Saturday where we can get back where we belong, if not before depending on tomorrow's result. There was a thread a while back about supporting boring teams. Well I don't think any fans can have had so much excitement and despair as we have over the last seven years. Yes I work with a couple who may be coming down to St Mary's on 28th. Oddly enough one sits next to a Doncaster fan so tomorrow will be a fun place!

On five live yesterday the commentator mentioned that the Skates had 800 odd fans at Doncaster and what a great effort that was given the distance! It amazes me how their mythical support is considered to be anything more than decidedly average.

You're missing the point. I could live with or without promotion but I also have a son who has had a ST since we moved to St Mary's. We live in the Midlands. He has to put up with constant **** taking about being a Saints fan but always wears his shirt (literally) with pride. His recent pain is hard to watch. He is a little older so doesn't cry but I would be gutted if we don't go up for his sake. Smart comments about look out next season are irrelevant.

Just arrived back from a very miserable journey home. We should have won that comfortably. Against a less organised defensive unit we would have got a hatful. Looking forward to the trip on Tuesday - if we play like that again then we will win. Keep the faith!
