What stinking weather today in Cardiff! I raced off for the first five miles and then the horizontal hail stones began in gale force winds! It didn't last long but I struggled from then on. Practically crawled home and just got over the line at 1:58:47. I've had better races!

Still buzzing from yesterday and still hoarse! What a pleasant two hour drive home listening to the Manchester derby and smiling all the way!

Unbelievable. What an achievement.

Final training run yesterday. 10 miles @ 8.33 pace. Very happy with that. Not running now until the race on Saturday.

Got four halfs booked including the World Championship with Mo Farrah in Cardiff during Easter weekend. Another in Cardiff, one in Swansea and a cross country run in Woodhouse Eaves by Loughborough. All beautiful courses.
