It was a competition where you had to say what Saints meant to you, or something similar. He won (amongst others) and they took a few photos of us to put in this book. And the prize was a season ticket but as we'd already renewed they gave us a refund. Excellent effort by the club in my opinion.

Not made up. My lad will be in there (not seen it yet) and he got the cost of his season ticket refunded as well so a great result! ?

Even though I had a season ticket throughout I'm struggling to remember much at all. Must be post traumatic stress disorder.

We have an exchange scheme in place at work with Australia and I ended up sat next to one of the Aussies a couple of nights ago. A nice bloke who confessed to not knowing much about football but said that his son had taken a shine to saints because of the way the club plays football and admiration at what the club is trying to achieve. Imagine my pride when explaining that I was a season ticket holder and spent the next half hour boring him with all that is great with the Saints! People have mentioned on other threads about our club being a laughing stock - well I beg to differ!

Good article. You have to say that over the last five years we must be the most exciting team to support. I work with villa fans who must suffer from acute boredom. We know how to make a roller coaster ride!!

I think Chambers is a great player. Not yet at Shaw's level but I am suitably impressed. I marvel at how good the kids are when they come through. Long may it continue!

Renewed again without hesitation. It's a way of life for me and my boy. He is now at university in Sheffield but gets the train down to Solihull and we drive down to the game together. Priceless moments together.
