  1. As crap goes, this is clearly amongst the crappiest.
  2. Thank you all for brightening up a day. Far more imaginative than I could have guessed.
  3. Shame we missed out on Zinedine Zidan.
  4. Quashie - very good, forgot about him. Think Zoltan is cheating.
  5. It's an international break and I'm bored already. So, for amusement, how close can you get to an alphabet of Saints players, past or present? For an element of competition, where there are plenty yo choose from (eg Lallana, Lambert,Lovren) the most recent wins. I'll start with Antonio, Boruc, Clyne. Easy so far. Will be impressed if anyone can do Q, X or Z.
  6. To be brutally honest, probably not. Demand will be high and you'll probably need to be ST holder with several aways last/this season to have a hope.
  7. Too defensive for me. If we turn up thinking we need to show them respect we'll lose. We need to be in their face, giving no time on the ball, like 2nd half last season. JRod for Osvaldo to give more energetic pressing high up the pitch. JWP and Cork on the bench to close the game out once we're 2 or 3 up.
  8. If Spuds concede today, we have the best defence in the league.
  9. 100% match thread starting record maintained. Think I'll quit while I'm ahead.
  10. Is Cork on the bench? If so, why Guly?
  11. Step up Jack Cork?
  12. This is agony. How long left?
  13. Bit of pace maybe, but not sure on JRod as lone striker. Defensive move.
  14. Bet we get a pen now.
  15. Got no feed. Are we totally on the defensive?
  16. Sounds good. Need to shore things up.
  17. But with Glaso tickets for consolation. Btw my daughter failed and hates you.
  18. Big test but we can do it!
  19. I've only ever started one of these and we won. Stuck inYorkshire do hope one or two might join me here.
  20. Swansea are struggling against a team who are pressing and being energetic and physical. We need a high tempo and quick movement of the ball on Sunday. After their experience tonight, wouldn't be surprised to see them play a lot of long balls into the corner. Could cause problems.
  21. Watching tonight it seems the way to defend against Michu is to kick his head.
  22. Love the Pont Du Gard too. And walking the top is the most serious test of vertigo I've ever faced. No parapet or other protection whatsoever, just narrow walkway with 100foot plus drop.
  23. When is it?
  24. Sunderland away. Wonderful. I may possibly not be going.
  25. Winner!
