And whilst we're getting a few things sorted.... We have a talented group of players and a good manager who are the envy of most other teams in League 1 Occasionally a player makes a mistake or two, or has an off game. This does not instantly make him a useless player worthy of abuse and unbridled criticism. Sometimes the manager's decisions don't work. Unless he makes bad decisions all the time, which he doesn't, he doesn't instantly deserve the sack.

So if Antonio = N'Guessen does Papa Waigo = Guly and if so have we finally got the two impact players we need?

I couldn't see much evidence of those on youtube. Could be more of a "head down and go" player.

But looks bigger, stronger and possibly even more erratic. But hopefully occasionally brilliant.

A bit worried that it seemed to me that a lot of the clips showed him beating a player or two brilliantly then were cut before whatever happened next .....

I'm delighted Gray has gone. Always found him to be over-opinionated, very biased in favour of the so-called big 4, especially Manure and patronising towards the lower leagues, always implying that the Permier League is so obviously better than anything else. I know that the sort of comments he's made are everyday pub banter, but he wasn't in the pub, he is (was) in the public eye and he deserves everything he's got. I hope he never works again.

I'd agree with that, pretty much. This game really doesn't matter, but Exeter on Tuesday does so it's vital to keep key players fit. Definitely not Lalanna or Hammond, would avoid playing Oxo. The bottom line is we're very unlikely to win, but have got as much chance with a reserve team. The last thing we want is the top players running themselves ragged trying to impress.

Back from the game and it was poor. No commitment to get into the game physically from the off, hoofed long balls which Lambert wasn't winning, no width, too slow to the second ball, bad day for Kelvin. Generally seemed something wrong with the whole team's setup and psyche.

Poor display all round. Started too slowly, played long balls from the off to their 3 CBs. Uncompetitive in midfield, no fight, no control on the ball, too slow in moving the ball and little movement off the ball. Sloppy defending for both goals. There seemed something wrong with the team psyche today. Davis 4. Should have claimed the cross for the first ball, out of position for the 2nd(but not all his fault). Kicked long too much but defence didn't make themselves available. Richardson 6. Fairly sound game. Not much in attack. Fonte 7. Sound as usual, looking to pass rather than hoof. Jaidi 5. As usual. Pretty solid in the air, hoof, hoof. Harding 3. I'm a fan but he had a bad day. No control, no craft, doesn't seems to work with Dickson. Oxo 5. Kept out of the game pretty much. Just one or two moments, but 10 mil? You're avin a larf. Morgan 5.5. Nice touches late in the game but didn't get a grip early on and no grit when needed. Chaplow 6. Below his best but those around him didn't help. Dickson 5. One good run, otherwise didn't get anywhere near the byeline all game. Lambert 3. Won very little in the air and if we're kicking it long and he's not doing that, end of game. Missed 2 chances he would have buried last season. Time for a rest. Guly 5. Had a rough time but just not effective. Poor service. Barnard 7. Why did we wait so long to see him? Going to drown sorrows.
