I know, terrible. I should really start to prioritise my news intake better.

I only blame them for the server problem which kept me plugging and unplugging from about 7.30 till 11.45 last night. Hitting a window of opportunity seems to have been about luck more than judgement, and reading a few Apple blogs, plenty of other people suffered too.

10 past 4 this morning I got the last of my update texts confirming MMS service. Not bad really, only 7 hours start to finish.

It's pretty bad, tbh, I haven't been able to connect for a couple of hours now. I wish I'd stuck to my gut feeling and not updated for a few weeks. You'd have thought they'd have learnt from the last time, last year.

I didn't, RH, but they did stream their entire gig live on the Download website so I stayed in Friday and watched it. Epic performance ('scuse the pun) but they all look so old nowadays, except Mike who doesn't seem to have changed a bit. They certainly didn't play like they'd been away for a decade.

Shame about their sh*tty activation server being down all night, eh? Good old Apple.

Well, he wasn't the greatest comedian of all time, even in his peak, but I can't recall him being offensive.

What are you looking for exactly? An interactive driving experience or a simple tool to get you from A - B with the least cost and fuss? Either way it's probably the Avensis, not that any diesel is particularly engaging.

Have you seen the population density of Australia? It's the second most sparse at 6.4 people per square mile of land. I think they have room for a few more. As a reference for you, the UK has a population density exactly 100 times higher than that, at 640 people per square mile.

I can only speak as I find, but I was talking about their software. I've used iPods and the iPhone and apart from the odd restart necessity, they're pretty good. I like my iPhone immensely and I'm looking forward to upgrading but, like I said, it's not going to "just work" as I'll need to make some manual settings changes to ensure I'm not charged for using the 'net. That's aside from potential bugs in the release - although I'm impressed that your mate has run the beta version ok. Sweepstake on OS v3.1 release date?
