  1. Cod are more endangered than dolphins.
  2. No, no, no, absolutely not. It's just unfortunate that people who have to pay for their CRB's don't actually contribute to a foolproof deterrent.
  3. As long as someone's never been caught it won't stop them getting the job.
  4. Best of TG on BBC2 now features that Vincent Black Shadow, StL.
  5. No. It's unlikely we'd have a wealthy owner if we hadn't gone into admin - which we may not have done if that cheque hadn't bounced.
  6. I was under the impression that the £6,000 cheque bounced only because Barclays unexpectedly pulled the overdraft facility.... I could be wrong but then it doesn't really matter a sh** now.

Joints popping out, not the lack of a medical forum.

Yeah, I can imagine that it's not very nice...
  9. Exactly what my sister did. She lives in Farnborough and works in Woking but she walked to the Farnborough branch during the snow days. She couldn't do her 'job' from there but she did man the cashiers positions in the absence of their own staff. Wise decision that one from the bank... for a change.

Probably. How old are you and are you going through a bit of a growth spurt? I don't want to be patronising but it's not uncommon for tendons and ligaments to get over-stretched in teenage lads hitting a growth patch. If it swells up, I'd definitely get down the GP's but if it's ok in the morning I expect I'd forget it.
  11. Renault R24 round the TG track on the episode just starting on Dave now.
  12. I paid a similar amount for my 3G well over a year ago. It's still like brand new, no scratches, etc. and still performs brilliantly. It's not just a beautifully functional phone, it's really well put together too. I use it at work and I work in a very poor environment for mobile phones, amid powdered nylon, and where other phones have failed it keeps soldiering on. I think its longevity has justified the price tag, though, I admit, I had reservations when I handed over my Debit Card.
  13. It was on TV at Christmas, jeff, and yes, it's so bad it's compelling. I particularly liked the robot ninja fight scene towards the end.
  14. No, this hasn't even beeped on my radar. I'd like it to be true but I can't see it.
  15. Fair dos.
  16. What Ess said. Although I already use the Simplicity contract. I can tell you wrote that on the iPhone, Ess, the capitalised Reading gives it away.
  17. I walked to work. A couple of miles through 18" of snow.
  18. How do you account for the 'e' at the end of Jaime ( as in Jaime Alguersuari, the Spanish F1 driver) being pronounced 'ee' then? I'm sure there are general rules, as in English, but they're seldom hard and fast.
  19. I'd walk. The trouble is, once I've walked to the end of my road there's still nowhere to go.
  20. I can't even get out of my road. Goddamn snow.
  21. Good grief. As if there aren't enough "talent" shows on TV. This whole country is reverting back to 1960s Butlins. Well, **** it, I refuse to play.
  22. Right, so Cortese is out there scoring every goal and saving every shot then? It works both ways, chaps.
  23. It's got MMS, mate. No bluetooth sending, no, but I never use that anyway. It seems to me that only people who fileshare songs illegally and then play them out loud as they walk through town really need that. The camera is a bit w*nk, no argument there, but, the iPhone, as an ergonomic and functional bit of technology, is unbeatable.
  24. There's nothing wrong with the 'phone' element of the iPhone, like you make it sound there.
