  1. Playing like a bunch of cunts.
  2. You talk so much shit it’s unreal. First you say airport expansions have no impact on the number of flights because they just move planes from different airports, then you say aviation is continually expanding.
  3. Under the airport’s own projections future carbon emissions will rise on average by 350,000 tonnes a year. From Eastliegh council's own site: "Among the speakers, was Felix Eigenbrod, a Professor of Applied Spatial Ecology in the Department of Geography and Environmental Science at the University of Southampton. Professor Eigenbrod was one of five academics who had co-authored a letter to the committee along with an economist, Professor Christopher Heady. A graduate of Cambridge and Yale, Professor Heady has previously been consulted by the IMF and World Bank among many other leading International institutions. Given these credentials it was clear that the expert evidence presented by Professor Eigenbrod and his colleagues would weigh with the panel. A key passage in the academics’ letter asserts that the additional carbon emissions caused by airport expansion would quickly exceed the total carbon produced by the entire Eastleigh area by 160% and by 2032 the effect of the extra emissions would be the equivalent of adding a town of 98,000 people. They concluded that “The magnitude of these climate impacts threatens to dwarf any climate mitigation efforts by Eastleigh Borough Council.”
  4. So on one hand you are saying the runway extension won't mean any more flights, and the other you say without the extension there will be zero flights out of Southampton (regional or international). Brilliant!
  5. I disagree, the hassle of Heathrow and Gatwick compared to the ease of flying out of Southampton would definitely be a factor.
  6. Of course it will mean more flights, there is no reason to invest millions in runways if it doesn't increase capacity. Gatwick and Heathrow will be back to normal after the pandemic and there will be more flights from Southampton.
  7. How can more jets flying possibly be better for the environment?
  8. I don’t expect it to, I just signed it because I agree with it. You’re the one wetting your pants over it.
  9. Yeah because stopping your TV license is going to change everything.
  10. Mental that they disallowed that goal, Son got flicked but he was trying to grab the Utd player at the time.
  11. That would only be the inference if sports events are awarded solely on the basis of a countries record on human rights. If I really need to explain the faults of Russia and China you really are a thick old gammon cunt.
  12. Ndidi should have got a red card then.
  13. I never said that China had a better human rights record than Qatar, you obviously have problems reading.
  14. Not sure what that has got to do with their suitability to host a World Cup. Their human rights record is just one of the reasons why they shouldn’t have been awarded it, in my opinion. i get why sometimes countries like Russia and China get to host these things despite their obvious faults, but the Qatar decision was just illogical and corrupt.
  15. Lol, I think most people assumed a scummy country like Qatar wouldn’t even get a look in.
  16. Obviously good for convenience and the local economy but it does make a mockery of our so called attempts at combating climate change.
  17. How could you protest before the decision? No one was expecting the corrupt old fucker to pull Qatar out the envelope, I don’t think many people even knew they were deciding on the 2022 hosts at the time either.
  18. Would make it a bit quicker but you will still have the same margin of error issues. They just need to use big fat lines for each player and if there is any overlap then he’s onside.
  19. Though 2 mins silence at the footie was a bit OTT, I didn’t realise the length of time is meant to be proportionate to their supposed importance. How long are we going to give the queen when she snuffs it 3 or 4?
  20. Signed. For the reasons mentioned, but also because it’s going to be shit.
  21. Going from the boots or anywhere else won’t make any difference, they just need to allow for the margin of error of the person pausing the video and give the benefit of doubt to the attacker.
  22. Makes sense. It’s probably just a matter of time before a vaccine evading strain emerges so you want to get infection rates right down and hopefully be in a position where isolated outbreaks can be dealt with through test track and trace.
  23. What a load of bollocks, there is no government on the planet that wants to close stuff down and pay people to sit on their arses at home and watch Netflix. Our government are probably being over cautious because they have fucked up before and the language is all doom and gloom because they don’t want people jumping the gun before the vaccines have been fully rolled out.
  24. I agree, but the numbers in hospital during the last wave was very high, and that was with a lockdown. Even with a decent amount of people vaccinated, a return to normal now might see another spike. Or they are more worried about a vaccine evading mutation than they are letting on.
  25. I doubt all the vulnerable have, plus it’s not only the vulnerable who die or get effected by long Covid so It probably makes sense to delay the sex parties until June.
