Exactly. I don’t have much time for any religion and don’t know a great deal about Islam but even I know they have issues with pictures of Muhammad after the Danish and Charlie Hebdo stuff. I would rather live in a world that did all it could to take care of the homeless, not just bung them a few quid and tell them to shut up. There is a valid argument that we should vaccine ourselves first and get the economy back on track so we are better positioned to help the rest of the World, if that’s the plan then fair enough. But this will need a global solution because otherwise if some countries are left to rot it’s just going to mutate and put us all back to square one this winter.

Coming from someone who thought forcing all Covid victims onto cruise ships was a good idea, I take this as a compliment.

I don’t see the logic in cutting the army and spending billions on nukes, robots and drones. If this virus had been really deadly we probably would have needed the army to step in and help keep the country functioning. I expect if you follow where the money goes there will be a load of Tory donors with shares in drone/nuke/tech companies at the end.

Obviously going to be tough but probably the best we could have hoped for.
