  1. I thought he was finished after the 0-9 but fair play to the man, it takes a lot to come back from that. He’s obviously a fantastic manager.
  2. True, Iran and the US are both to blame.
  3. To be fair, the fact that they were expecting an American air attack would have made the chances of this sort of thing more likely, if it was an accidental surface to air missile that brought it down. These things happen when you put a country with a third rate military on a war footing. Obviously, whoever was operating the missile shoulders most of the blame but fact is, if Trump hadn't have murdered Soleimani then all these people would probably be still alive.

You may be right, to be honest I don't really pay much attention to the Royals so couldn't say. When they talked about climate change it interested me and I was astounded at the vitriol aimed at them for just trying to do some good. I guess the average Daily Mail reader took comfort in the highlighting of their hypocrisy, made their own lifestyles less guilt free.

They were not lecturing anyone, they were just trying to do their bit to help save the planet. What is wrong with you people, surely trying to help is a good thing regardless of their carbon footprint - yes? Little Englanders didn’t like what they said because 1. It’s the truth and 2. It wasn’t told to them by the usual beardy, sandal-wearing lefty, it was the darlings of their establishment echoing what the likes of Jeremy Corbyn have been saying for decades. Of course there is more than a hint of hypocrisy, but the same can be said for anyone that has ever spoken out about the environment, especially anyone rich and famous.

That’s typical of the attitude which is making them want to get out of this country. All they were doing is use their position to promote a good cause and instead of being praised for trying to help they just get vilified for being hypocritical.
  7. Oh come on, the fact that you listed Corbyn’s links with Russia as a negative when Boris/Cummins clearly have a stronger association shows the power of the bias in the media. What was it, the Telegraph Corbyn is Stalin headline, or the picture of him in a Russian looking hat?
  8. LOL you are proving our point perfectly. You perceived Corbyn as having Russian links because of what you have read/seen in the media yet Boris' chief advisor lived and worked in Russia for years, Boris has Russian links himself and has suppressed a report into Russian interference in our democracy.
  9. What are Corbyn's Russian links then?
  10. Of course he would have. You must agree that the press bias had an influence in the result though - agree?
  11. Not really playing a blinder though is it, he just ripped up one of the red lines and stuffed a border through the middle of the UK. May could have got a deal ages ago if she could just ignore one of the red lines. Playing a blinder would have been keeping the UK as a whole and coming up with that mythical technological solutions to the Irish border you lot kept on banging on about.

Good on them, they will be better off away for the scummy press in this country.
  13. No 'Lefties' just want a good standard of education for everyone. It's right wing loons like you that cry like babies and scream "Venezuela" at the thought of paying the tax needed.
  14. Of maybe that by experiencing grammar school first hand he has a better idea than most about what little they do for equality of opportunity?
  15. Not sure how an opinion of a right wing nut-job like you is even relevant? You’re never going to be one of their target voters. Labour lost because their leader was a toxic brand, his policies were too extreme and Brexit destroyed their core vote. As long as they come up with a half sensible manifesto I doubt they will have much problem winning their traditional seats back as none of those will be a factor. Winning overall is a different story though obviously. Everything depends on how Brexit plays out, for that we will just have to wait and see.
  16. Starmer is probably the best out of that lot IMO. But I expect after five years of Boris, Labour could have Crusty the Clown as leader and still win back the Red Wall.
  17. A lot of assumptions there. If we are thriving outside the EU it won't matter who is Labour leader or who wins the Red Wall constituencies - the Tories will win regardless. That's a big if though.
  18. **** draw
  19. Think you’re the one who’s views are tinted by loyalty. The lack of ability of the match officials to make the correct decisions was the reason VAR was brought in.
  20. You appear to be living in a parallel universe where the match officials havn't been making glaring errors week-in week-out. If anything, the use of VAR has shown how near impossible the linos job has been over the years. 13cm margin of error for VAR, it must be close to 6ft margin of error for some old bloke trying to run down a line and at the same time try and work out who's in line at the exact moment the ball is kicked in a completely different area of the pitch - all whilst receiving dogs abuse from thousands of ****ed up football fans. And as we all know, any level of doubt and teams like Saints get **** all our favour when against a glamour side. Give me 13cm any day.
  21. Goal should be given - the benefit of doubt should go to the attacker because it cannot be 100% sure of it being offside.
  22. I prefer the VAR bloke making the decision - he’s the one with the better view, slow mo replays etc. Plus he’s going to be less influenced by screaming fans and moaning players. The only issue I have with VAR is the forensic offside analysis, streamline that and it’s fine IMO.
  23. Everton are awful.
  24. It’s still a choice. Granted it’s easier for some people to change than others but that doesn’t stop it being a choice.
  25. It’s been quite a tough Xmas schedule so I would probably rest the whole first eleven.
