I'm pretty sure the clubs will lose out as well if all games are held behind closed doors.

That’s the spirit.

Filthy rich Arab on an ego trip please. -
So you took “Only 11 Years Left to Prevent Irreversible Damage from Climate Change” to mean “the human race will be wiped out in 11 years”.
-
When did they say the bit about us being wiped out in 11 years?

I’d be happy with that. Being Red Bull Southampton wouldn’t bother me in the slightest. In 135 years we’ve won one solitary major trophy, they could call us Hairy Balls Southampton for all I care if they are going to invest in team. -

This. Fantastic news we should hopefully see the back of Gao. -
That’s good news but wouldn’t that make it spread much quicker, if kids carried the virus but didn’t show symptoms?
-
That’s a fair point but being forced to play sh!t players because of injuries is fair enough. We are playing with sh!t right backs because our owner fancied pocketing some cash, wether Cedric is injured or not makes no difference to us now.

The more she irritates old gammons like you the more I think she’s doing a fantastic thing. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-51774063

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

There’s a clear definition here old man: https://www.gov.uk/workplace-bullying-and-harassment I don't know much about this Philip Rutnam fella but he’s obviously not stupid and he’s been around the block a bit so I would expect him to have some evidence before resigning and suing the government - I guess we will have to wait and see. -

There is no excuse for bullying. If someone is useless at their job they can either be sacked, made redundant or moved to another role. I’m not surprised that you stand up for this sort of behaviour. Anyone who still calls women chicks is obviously stuck in a bygone age. -
Have they started clapping the opposition like a bunch of ***ts yet?

Grammar and Spelling Mistakes Which Annoy You
aintforever replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Lounge
I’m not that arsed about spelling or grammar. As long as you communicate what you intend to, I don’t see the issue. Obviously sometimes it’s import that it is correct but most of the time it doesn’t matter in the slightest. -
Politicians mixing with rich people shocker.

Stuff your dream team full of Liverpool ****s and look what ****ing happens.

Disagree, the second one was possibly more arm than shoulder but it was definitely not clear and obvious. The first one was just a joke.

Fleetwood! I guess this is about the right time of year for start of the annual WTFILN comedy show.

The best bit about the license fee is we get great TV, radio and website, plus as a bonus we get to enjoy listening to tight Tory ****s like you moan about it.
-
Keep VAR, just sack the idiot who made the descision. Refs have always used the ‘didnt see it excuse’ now there is no hiding place for those that are just not good enough.

This. The BBC is excellent value for money. It’s not just about the TV shows but the website is probably the best thing on the net (because it’s not constantly trying to flog you ****) and the radio is also good. It’s impossible for any news service to be completely independent but the BBC is the closest you will get and it’s vital that it stays that way. Having said that the TV license is dated, paying for it through some other form of tax would make more sense.
