  1. Le Tiss didn't even want freebies, he just wanted to BUY some tickets. I doubt any other club in the land would tell one of their greatest ever players they wouldn't be allowed to buy a few extra tickets. i think you are the one with the clouded judgement if you think that is right.
  2. i think he said that once. The Man Utd game he wanted tickets for didn't even get close to selling out. Nobody would have been denied tickets.
  3. Do you think Beckham would be allowed to BUY a few tickets for his mates at Man Utd? I expect he would be given some comps.
  4. It's all very petty. for example, things like Le Tiss not being allowed to buy his mates some Man Utd tickets is petty but still shows a lack of respect to a club legend. It's that lack of respect I don't like and I don't blame Matt one bit for having the hump.
  5. A friend of mine who works at the club told me he had it in for Le Tiss long before any of this hit the media, you can't blame Matt for being upset by being ostracised by a club he did so much for. He and Benali have been very restrained IMO. We all want them to sort it out for the good of the club but I think club legends should be treated as such and wont change my opinion on that regardless of how much money our owners have. Some people are bought easily though it seems.
  6. Agree that they should sort it out but you might want to think about why Matt has resorted to saying the sort of stuff he does.
  7. Cortese has had it in for Le Tiss from day one. He's done a good job for the club so it's not a big deal but Le Tiss has more than earned the right to voice his opinion.
  8. Eggs, Omelettes? you sound like David Brent. There is no reason why taking a club to a new level has to mean banning ex players, spats with the local press etc.
  9. I don't disagree except for the fact that you somehow think that p!ssing in the face of the club's history, legends and traditions, and treating people like sh!t are somehow needed in taking a football team to a new level. I would say all the above works against achieving that aim. The idea that all this bad Pr is a positive is bizarre.
  10. Have you met him?
  11. Of course they should, business wise it's a no-brainer. My mate took some clients to the Terry Paine suite a few years back and ended up sitting with Steele. They said he was a right laugh with some excellent stories. Made their day.
  12. Yeah that's it. He met Matt Le Tissier and just forgot.
  13. It does bode well that even with 'stale' training we managed to get results against Chelsea and Arsenal etc. I expect no less than a win at Old Trafford now with this new improved training.
  14. sounds positive, but then so did Wotte and Poortvleit before they actually started managing.
  15. I thought you were a c*nt before I had any idea what you looked like. That just confirms it.
  16. The club can't have any complaints if he now decides to go to Arsenal or Chelsea. He's well within his rights to show SFC the same amount of loyalty at what was shown to Adkins.
  17. Who the f*ck is Simon Peach anyway?
  18. Paul Lambert has looked a broken man for a while now. It looks like that classic situation where he wants to resign but doesn't want to lose the pay off, and Villa want to sack him but don't want to pay him off. Norwich look like they are in free-fall as well which bodes well.
  19. Players will play anywhere if you pay them enough.
  20. missed Neil Heany, Micky adams and Neil Maddison. But they've missed off Jason Puncheon.
  21. A few weeks ago I thought Reading and QPR were dead and buried but now it is wide open. It really could be any 3 from West Ham down.
  22. Andrei Kanchelskis
  23. Peter Reid
