  1. Relatives claiming they were set up is not evidence and the police had to publish their pictures because of the nature of the threat. All the hype from the media is just inevitable in the US. How does the younger brother being caught alive fit in with your bizarre conspiracy theory? Surely that is the very last thing they would want if it was some big set up. There is nothing to even hint at a set up.
  2. If the two brothers were innocent they could and would have just handed themselves in to the nearest Police station. It wouldn't be hard to prove their innocence, they would simply have to turn up with the rucksacks they were carrying that day and show the coppers what was in them and tell them where they were going. There is zero evidence or motive for any bizarre conspiracy in this case.
  3. Promotion from the Championship at the first attempt was an amazing achievement, next to no one on here gave us a chance at the star of the season. Staying up this year would be a great achievement, but given what we have spent, not close to last season.
  4. PhilippineSaint got it spot on IMO, just a couple of Muslim nutjobs. If it was foreign sponsored they are not very good sponsors if all they can afford is a couple of pressure cookers.
  5. You take a dump in the USA and someone will make up a conspiracy theory as to why.
  6. I enjoyed Cancun, very Americanised but I like that sort of sh!t. Fantastic hotels. You can visit some great places like Chichen Itza and Tulum. We took a bus down the coast to Belize, stunning place, great for diving and the only country in Central America who's first language is English.
  7. Thats got to mean -10 next season. Sha la la la la la la la
  8. If they hire Guy Wittingham as manager you just know this fan ownership is just going to end up in one almighty hilarious cluster-f*ck. "impressing as caretaker" PMSL, didn't he go on the longest losing streak in their history?
  9. The reason it gets more coverage is purely because explosions don't happen in the US as often and there are more connections with the UK. The media are only concerned with the amount of interest from their viewers. Having said that there is obviously some racism in the level of people's reaction when compared to when a few brown people get blown up. The people in Iraq and Afganistan have to put up with this sort of thing daily thanks to the USA and UK governments.
  10. Upton Park. I remember slating the Scousers at first because we assumed it was crowd violence related. Was a weird atmosphere when the news filtered through.
  11. I think he will prove to be a great signing. People forget he is only young, miles from home and getting used to a different league. He's obviously got the talent to be a top player, if he was a product from our academy people on here would be hailing him the new Pele.
  12. Agree, it's not hard to avoid trouble if you use your brain.
  13. I expect with the add ons it will add up.
  14. Great news. I'm guessing that the way the players are so freely signing new contracts means we are paying pretty big wages.
  15. Not black and white but the government is responsible for education, if there are localised differences for whatever reason that is still the governments problem.
  16. And they will lose a grand each.
  17. I went to a comprehensive school during the Thatcher years and it was truly awful. Totally under-funded, think we went on one school trip the whole time I was there (Fishbourne). My mates year went to Stonehenge but they couldn't afford entry so just parked on the roadside and looked at it through the fence. Teaching was terrible, many lessons consisted of the teacher putting on a video and just sitting there. horrendous bullying, fighting and depraved **** like girls getting fingered whilst in lessons etc. I actually thought all schools were like this until a few years ago when we took on a new client at work which was a top private school in Surrey. I was astounded at the sort of schooling rich kids get in comparison. That's partly why I hated Thatcher so much.
  18. I would have preferred liquidation but fair play to he blue few, even though they don't have full ownership the important thing for them was to get rid of Chanrai etc. I think fan ownership will be a complete disaster though. The Ted Bates statue was a perfect example of what happens when football fans get to make decisions that should be left to business people. Even though a CEO will be appointed he will be in a no-win situation of having to keep the mong hoards happy whilst making important tough, unpopular decisions. Coupled with the fact that the skates are not the cleverest bunch and have delusions of grandeur - you have a recipe for disaster.
  19. That would be the Bradford that has been stuck in the 4th tier since 2007.
  20. SSN just said they have agreed to pay Chanrai £3m plus further amounts over the next few years. I think we all know how this is going to end up. Admin number 3, probably this time next year.
  21. Why on earth would the other League 1 clubs suddenly turn round and decide to reverse the penalty?
  22. I expect the scousers will have something planned...
  23. Thatcher f*cking hated football fans, couldn't think of anything less appropriate.
  24. Good post, sums up exactly how I feel. Forget the miners, mining and heavy industry was always going to be in decline. Thatcher had a duty of care to the communities effected but you could tell she didn't give a sh!te, it was as if she saw them as the enemy, they would vote Labour anyway so she just left them to rot. Collateral damage in a war against the unions born from her own ideology.
  25. The Poll Tax was a complete disaster, even most Tories admit that now. It was completely unfair, a millionaire living in a mansion paying less than a few people holed up in some sh!t hole flat. Just like with income tax, it should be based on ability to pay.
