Literally the biggest waste of money ever.
-
He's scored 2, the same as Jose Fonte.
-
It wasn't long ago that players like Le Tissier and Wright were banging in 20+ a season and couldn't even get in the squad. Now we have Welbeck in there who has scored 2 goals, despite playing for the country's best team. You could plant a tree in the penalty box at Old Trafford and it would get two goals over a season.
-
Even by England's standards that is a sh!t squad.
-
Get a SONOS, bloody brilliant.
-
How do you know he's not working on plans?

I'm with Turkish, build it now it looks cool.

Usually I agree with you, some of the sentences handed out for the riots were obscene, as are some given to football fans for doing things like shaking a fence. But in cases like this where the people involved are loaded a fine wouldn't be a real punishment. And because it is so high profile an example had to be made.

Bizarre timing, can't see them staying up regardless of who they appoint. I would have kept McDermott for his record in the Championship.
-
Glad he got jailed, and his slag of an ex-wife. I have less respect for her than I do him for such a petty act of revenge.
-
I would say Reading are almost certainly gone, QPR will probably just come up short. Nothing at all between us Villa and Wigan though. My gut feeling is that Villa with buckle under the pressure and we will stay up on final day.
-
stoke at home is as good a final fixture as you would want, they should have nothing to play for. As long as we are in the driving seat I wouldn't be too worried if it went down to that.

Who would we be higher under, Adkins or Pochettino?
aintforever replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
Probably wouldn't have been massively different to what we have now. I would feel more confident with Adkins taking us into the run in than Pochenitto though, purely because he looked like he had got to grips with what the Prem is about. IMO under Pochettino there is a bigger chance of a nose dive. -
Lallana should score way more than he does.
-
I think 37 will be enough to stay up so yes.
-
But the owner obviously wanted big signings and instant success. That's his decision not the first team manager's.
-
It was obviously Arcdi's money all along, I don't see how that would make any difference to the team manager. What was he supposed to do, say "I'm sorry you're not allowed to spend your money on that player because I'm not 100% sure wether it's you or your dad that owns the club". Get real, any manager would have spent the money.
-
When Redknapp was there, there was no uncertainty about ownership. It was owned by the Russian. Are you saying that if Abramovic cuts and runs from Chelsea it's their manager's fault if they go bust?
-
To be fair it's not the managers job to tell the owner what the budget is. Every manager out there would want the best players possible.
-
What a load of crap. Beattie was superb in his prime, you don't get that many goals in the Premier League by luck.
-
Chairman no 1 took an established Premier League club, relegated it two divisions and left it bankrupt. Chairman no 2 took over third tier club, landed it a billionaire and got it promoted two divisions. How did this get to round 3 again?
-
So does a points penalty but they have still been hit with that. A points penalty when they are already down is obviously not a penalty in any form so there would be a good argument for it to go over to next season, if they go over the cut-off date.
-
When is the cut off date for points being applied this season? We went into admin at the start of April and just missed the deadline so it must be sometime this month.
-
It's just less likely. If we had won yesterday (not beyond the realms of fantasy that we could beat the Prem's worst side at home - even in your miserable world) we would be 3 points of 10th place). Of course making up a 3 point gap over a period of 10 games is just impossible, could never happen.
