  1. Never happen, you have to remember that 'every other club" IS the football league.
  2. If that's the case it makes way more sense for any potential owner to wait to liquidation then get a debt free club and ground. Even if it's non-league it would be a better buy than a League 1 club, ridden with debt and no ground.
  3. I don't get this mid-life crisis b@ll@x, when ever I've heard of people having one it just seems they are doing something they want to do. Buy a stupid fast car, go back packing, dump your wife, shave your plumbs and punch a copper - who gives a sh!t, do what you want. The only crisis is thinking doing what you want is a crisis.
  4. They are naive in the extreme if they don't think Chanrai and Gaydamak are in this together. The reason Chanrai has kept them on a life machine this long is obviously so Gaydamak can get his parachutes. If Chanrai saves them now they will be in the same boat again in two years time, in League 1 or 2.
  5. "The grimy workers in engine rooms gravitated towards the close-built terraced streets of Northam and Chapel (the kind of hard-drinking neighbourhood on whose Albert Road six pubs could be found side by side)." Where have those pubs gone? Tragic.
  6. Its always good sign when you play **** and still win. MASSIVE 3 points today.
  7. I've been Schneiderlin's biggest critic but he has really got his game together and has been the difference in our recent run. He has always had talent but now he's starting to read the game much better, he's no longer a show-poney, but a proper team player and sublime passer.
  8. Can't remember seeing a better goalkeeping display, that includes Shilton, Flowers, Jones and Neimi. To be fair my memory is sh!t but that was superb. Well done kelvin.
  9. Don't be such a big gay. All this gone forever stuff is just nonsense, they will start up again as a non-league side and work their way back up. The way things are going even if they survive there probably won't be any derby games for a couple of decades anyway.
  10. A. The cheating ****s deserve liquidation. The derby days are good but every day will feel like a derby win when they go non-league.
  11. What will happen to this thread if they go t!ts up? Can a mod clarify please, 1138 pages, this just can't cease to exist.
  12. This is just the administrator playing cat and mouse with football league/Prem. I expect money will be forwarded so they can see out the season, don't fancy their chances of lasting through the summer. the FL won't give a monkeys if they go bast after the last fixture is played. In fact they will be glad to be rid of the headache and delightfully offer Huddersfield, Sheff Weds or MK Dons a place in the Championship.
  13. Looks like the penny has dropped with one of the blue few at least... harswa Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 12:38 PM Remember HMRC want us liquidated, and the administrator is the choice of HMRC!
  14. If the previous CVA has, in the words of the administrator, failed then it HAS to be an additional points deduction similar to Bournemouth's otherwise all clubs have to do in the future is agree a CVA they cannot service and blow off their debt.
  15. That is the dullest England kit I have ever seen, and that is saying something. If they are going to change it every 5mins to rip off the fans they could at least come up up with a new design not just change the collar and colour of badge on the cheapest sh!t they could mass produce in China. It's kind of appropriate for the England, all about making money and below average standard.
  16. "Gaydamak's money is his own, nothing to do with his dad..." "Maradona to be DOF, bringing in Riquelme..." "Sulaiman Al Fahim - it wouldn't make any sense him buying the club if he didn't have serious money..." "We are NOT going into administration..." (prior to the first one) "Al-Faraj - take us to a new level..." "CSI - they are reputable bankers..." PMSL
  17. I don't like the whole 'left wing' 'right wing' label thing. Some of my views would be considered left wing but just as many right wing. People assume that if you detest the greed of today's f*cked up capitalist system you automatically want to hand out millions in benefits to scroungers. I hate benefit cheats as much as bankers. I agree with many green party policies, yet also agree with typical right wing views on immigrants and law and order. The label left or right is meaningless to me.
  18. What the hell is a demo in support of the club supposed to achieve?! I'm actually starting to feel sorry for the dumb f*ckers. Think they might me going from deluded to crazy.
  19. probably
  20. It is just obscene paying bonuses when they can't even make a profit. The whole monetary system is f*cked up. It's just a matter of time before it goes pop. It will go tits up when the US default on their debt, just a matter of time before they just right it all off, **** know what will happen when they do. http://www.usdebtclock.org/
  21. Still sh!t loads of seats left if anyone wants to help them 'Pack the Park' in their hour of need? https://www.eticketing.co.uk/portsmouth/details/event.aspx?itemref=746 For a reduced price. Against the biggest club in the League. That really is shocking suppport.
  22. I wouldn't worry about getting priority, Coventry will probably sell out but it won't be hard to get tickets the week before.
  23. Cortese is obviously a right ball busting ***** of a boss.
  24. Not really. Staying here in the Championship was a bigger risk. As he says, things change very quickly in football. Wenger could have been sacked, new boss doesn't fancy him, chance gone. Having said that he would have been better off going to a club that wins trophies like Man Utd, Arsenal are in decline at the moment playing their usual tappy tappy ****.
  25. Ours is sh!t, I would say the French one has to be best.
