  1. If they do get wound up it will be a beautiful day, especially given that if we beat West Ham on Tuesday Pompey's liquidation could put us 8 points clear of the Hammers. The 20th feb would become an annual celebration, the day justice was served and cheats got what they deserved.
  2. Someone from work lives near that place. Apparently, not long ago a fire engine and ambulance turned up after an incident involving a dwarf and a item of garden furniture/equipment. They didn't know the full details.
  3. That HAS to set some sort or precedent, pompey will have been in admin twice in less a period of time AND blown off more debt. "In a statement the Scottish Football League said it regretted the situation Dundee are in but added it had acted to protect the "integrity" of the league. "We are of the opinion that lessons are not being learned," the statement said. "For example, clubs have to realise that, going forward, they cannot treat their [tax] obligations as something akin to a credit card." How can it be even slightly fair if pompey only get -10? With their expensive players they will still stay up comfortably, -10 would be mean zero punishment - they would get away with it again.
  4. We had a honeymoon period, it's over. That's all.
  5. I remember reading somewhere that if they fail to pay the CVA it is cancelled and debts revert to what they originally were (£100mill+). Dunno if that is true or not though. I can see them getting away with it again. They will get -10 and stay up because they kept their best players instead of bothering to try and pay their debts off. Cheating ****s.
  6. Great news, just hope the saggy faced retard doesn't get it.
  7. The Redknapp verdict is joke. So basically, any boss can pay their employees' bonuses via an offshore account and pay no tax. As long as they say they are friends and it was a gift/investment/loan (or all three)? No wonder this country is skint.
  8. We just have to face up to the fact that we had a honeymoon period, just like every other promoted team. It's washing up and arguments from now on, will do very well to get in the play-offs.
  9. I think the Royal Family are good for the country, mainly for tourism but also a part of an institution that has served the country well over the years.
  10. You havn't got a faintest clue what Saints' finances are like. Your figures are based on our first year in league 1 when Leibherr basically had to invest in completely new team. We've been promoted, had high attendances and £12mill shoved in the bank since then. The one consistent thing about this whole thread is that you are talking sh!te. You said Gaydamak was as businessman in his own right - we said he was just laundering daddies blood money - we were right. You said the fat arab was loaded and going to install Maradonna as DOF and sign Riquelme - Dubai Phil clocked him as a fraud after 5mins. You said Al Mirage would "take you to a new level" - we thought it was odd there was nothing online about his business - he didn't exist. You said CSI were a reputable company - we said they were criminals - guess what, we were right again. How many times do you need to be proved wrong?
  11. Nice, who gives a sh!t if taxes gets paid or not.
  12. But surely by giving them aid you encourage their sh!tty government to be even more corrupt? It's completely bonkers giving aid to India, I would have thought the Tories would have put a stop to it.
  13. Wayne Bridge, bottom left.
  14. That's a much safer option for him than pumping endless millions into an insolvent company. All he and Gaydamak has to do is sit and wait. Planning permission wont be a problem after Fratton Park has been sat derelict for a year or two and AFC Pompey are located somewhere else.
  15. Nice design tho
  16. I thought they had the first years parachutes while they were in the prem, which surely means they had year 2's last season? Also, you would expect having them early came at a cost. I would be surprised if they received the amounts they would have been due initially. The Premier League are not a charity.
  17. You're wrong, it's printed by the dirty skate ****ers, despite the familly run Southampton firm helping out the club whilst in administration.
  18. \good point, how the hell was that a sending off!!
  19. Lager, but only the decent stuff. I refuse to drink cheap sh!t like Fosters, Carling etc any more. Peroni, Birra Moretti, Estrella Damm are the best drafts round my way. Stella Black is probably my favourite at the moment.
  20. That has to be the best idea of the lot.
  21. Hammond. We went on our barnstorming run to promotion last year when Schneirderlin wasn't in the side, and started this season superbly when Schneiderlin wasn't in the side. It's no coincidence.
  22. While we were fortunate to get someone of Leibherr's calibre the fact that we were bought by proper business people is nothing to do with luck. For all his faults (and there were plenty) Rupert Lowe did put the club on firm foundations. The buyers got a well run club, superb stadium, good training facilities and academy with conveyer belt of talent that almost repaid the cost of the club in one go. Pompey havn't had proper business people owning the club for years. Since the tax dodger they've been owned by a money laundering gun-runner, a publicity seeking skint arab, an arab that doesn't exist, a reluctant money lender and a bunch of Russian criminals.
  23. I don't think so, we now have the option of playing him on the right like at the start of the season when we were smashing teams all over the place.
  24. They can't afford to pay their tax, and now their wages, yet they still turn down £1.6mill from Ipswich so they can continue to field their expensively assembled first eleven. Makes you blood boil when you think of the kids we fielded to try and avoid admin - and we actually got punished by the football league. Cheating skate ****s.
  25. Fantastic news, could be the shot in the arm we need.
