For all his faults (and there were plenty) Rupert Lowe did put the club on firm foundations. The buyers got a well run club, superb stadium, good training facilities and academy with conveyer belt of talent that almost repaid the cost of the club in one go. Pompey havn't had proper business people owning the club for years. Since the tax dodger they've been owned by a money laundering gun-runner, a publicity seeking skint arab, an arab that doesn't exist, a reluctant money lender and a bunch of Russian criminals.
