Outfits and shopping lists for the new season
aintforever replied to Turkish's topic in The Muppet Show
There nothing wrong with wearing smart clothes, I make an effort every now and again. Having a special outfit for the new football season is bizarre though. Definitely something homosexual about a bunch of lads panning their "outfits" for a day at the footie together. Chavs can't afford decent gear anyway. -

Ha Ha, I can just imagine you stood their in all your dapper gear, trying to pull some scrubber in the Northam! I havn't bought a replica shirt in years but I can understand why people want to. they are there to support their team and have a laff, not worry about impressing someone with what clothes they choose to put on. -

I bet you will look absolutely stunning. I'm not fat, I have a nice pert bottom. Why, do you prefer the larger figure? -

This thread is f*cking embarrassing. -
I don't think any heavily armed country is a good idea but I respect their right to a defence. As for who is threatening them, that is obvious. The US and it's allies have invaded two countries next door to them - how can that not be perceived as threatening? You need to forget all the anti Iran nonsense and stop to think our our actions are perceived by other countries. Slaughtering thousands in another country for oil - how would you react to Iran doing that?
-
Iran has a right to defend itself like any other country. Maybe if the US and allies didn't wage war on it's neighbours Iran wouldn't feel the need to spend money on nukes or subs. Good on em.
-
No point in trying. Problem is someone at the FA will se it as an opportunity to spend a couple of years being well paid for doing next to nothing.

When you're as sh!t as QPR it is.

I'm wearing pants -
I fail to see what farming has got to do with London.
-
Would be the first time I've ever supported Germany.
-
This is a particularly bad group of players but England have always been sh!t. Being good at football is just not in our genes. We have easily more football clubs than any other country on the planet. A huge pool of players to choose from, the game in England has more money and the best training facilities on the planet yet without home advantage what have we achieved? - One World Cup semi-final.
-
Great result, for a team as limited as ours a draw against France is superb. Beat Sweden and scrape a draw against Ukraine and we're through.
-
I would bung Walcott on now.
-
I always thought Chambo was the better player.
-
I've always thought the Sun is not that bad re: transfer rumours. Just because it has a pair of jugs on page 3 doesn't mean it doesn't have good contacts in the football industry.
-
Yeah, because the club won't take into account future income from Season Tickets when working out the budget for the season.
-
I think Cortese will invest whatever is needed. He won't bring in sh!t players just to make up the numbers. We probably won't spend £25mill, you can get good free's in or loans. But if we have to spend that to get the quality we need I think we will.
-
Just trying to do the maths for you sweetheart, I wouldn't be surprised if we spent over 25mill. I'm just amazed how some people still think we can't compete with Swansea City in the transfer market. LOL
-
I wouldn't be surprised if we had a couple more £5mill +. I think Cortese will bring in quality and will push the boat out if he has to.
-
6m + 4.5m + 4.5m + 4.5m = 19.5m I take it maths isn't your best subject at school.
-
Doesn't need to be more than £25mill though does it though? Anyway, I'm just amazed we could spend this much, some thickos on here think we couldn't even compete with Swansea in the transfer market.
-
A couple more 5mill signings wouldn't take our spending to £25mill. I can see our spending maybe knocking on 20.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if Delap is our 4th or 5th most expensive signing come the start of the season.
