  1. In theory yes, but in practice if you are offered your dream job you are going to give it a go. The chairman should resign.
  2. Still in the ****ing fridge, better not be there this time next week.
  3. Don't ever underestimate Saints' ability to f*ck things up.
  4. I ****ing hate it when refs bottle it. He knew the defender was already on a yellow and was too scared to send him off. Spineless, pussy, tosser of a ref.
  5. They have been trying to sell the club (as a Championship club) since CSI went into admin last November and they havn't had a sniff of a serious buyer. Now as a League 1 club they havn't got a hope in hell of someone buying them. The numbers didn't add up in the championship - it is worse now, it is simply not a business. The idea that the fans can club together and make it sustainable is just pie in the sky. Time for the administrator to do what he is legally obliged to do and liquidate.
  6. cock, ********, ****, ****, ****, ****. If we can't beat Coventry at home I don't even want us to be playing the likes of Man U and Arsenal.
  7. I do understand how a glancing blow was worse than a head on collision. I just found "it's easy to say in hindsight I suppose" a bit funny. As if the captain could have made any other decision than try and avoid the thing. As for the conspiracy theory, that's got more holes in it that the ship herself. Complete nonsense, like the 9/11 conspiracies, it would mean so many people have to be complicit in mass murder that it simply could not be true.
  8. The funniest scenario would be for them to stay up then get liquidated.
  9. Well done Reading, that really was a freakishly good run.
  10. You think?! "Iceberg, right ahead sir" "OK, lets cut our loses and plough straight into it"
  11. We took more than that to Carlisle, when we were bottom of League One.
  12. It will obviously be good to get promotion but it's not a big deal if we don't. The problem is it gets hyped up so much because of the money but there are alot of things better about being in he Championship. Having said that I want us to go up ASAP so I can go on another European trip. Bucharest was superb. My only other experience of watching football abroad is going with England when your surrounded by nuckle-dragging c*nts. Going to some obscure European place and being surrounded by Saints fans was brilliant.
  13. This is one of those cases where the death penalty is appropriate - shocking crime with zero doubt of guilt.
  14. West Ham had been threatening to do that to someone, they battered Reading for the whole first half by all accounts. Unless there is any evidence of wrongdoing this thread is b*ll*x
  15. I think we will drop points against Boro, West Ham will drop points against Leicester and Reading v Birmingham.
  16. There is always twists, some of the games we expect to win we wont, some of the games we expect West Ham to win they wont. Typical Saints fans, we are 3 points behind Reading yet we think they have the Championship sewn up, we are 3 points ahead of West Ham yet are convinced they will catch us.
  17. The OP is obviously a skate, Adkins record at SFC is flawless.
  18. A bit odd doing it in a church, I didn't think Jews believed in jesus.
  19. Agree, they are a League 1 club that's been bankrolled by Madejski. Last time I went with Saints there were actually kids with Chelsea shirts going into the home end.
  20. Load of ********, we will be just as strong, if not stronger next year IMO.
  21. Yeah, because losing in the play-offs really effected Reading.
  22. There's a bit of a difference between an animal enjoying running and knowing the risks involved in a grand national style race. I'm pretty sure they are not aware that a fracture in their leg means a bullet in the head.
  23. If we don't win Tues we can still get automatic promotion even if West Ham win all their games. If we don't get auto promotion we have a good chance of a trip to Wembley and promotion. If we don't get promotion this year we will probably go up next year or the year after. The Premier League is overhyped, expensive with more Sunday kick-offs and defeats against c*nts like Man utd anyway. Whatever happens, we can still continue to laugh at pompey.
  24. Kelvin does have a tendency to stay rooted to his line, I must admit I thought it was punchable but I didn't have a great view.
  25. They could make it much safer though. For starters they could move some of those f*ck off great big fences out the way before making them run round.
